"So...do you geniuses have any ideas on what the hell is going on?" Joe asks Cisco and Caitlin

"Well, it still could be a figment of his imagination. The mind is a mysterious thing. There are so many things of the psyche that is still unexplored and unexplained. And we still don't know what Barry is fully capable of." Caitlin explains to Joe.

"Yeah, I've heard about this multiple personality syndrome. Somehow a person even looks and sounds different. You think it might be that?" Joe asks Caitlin

"No," Cisco interjects, "in case of Multiple Personality Disorder or Dissociative Identity Disorder, multiple personalities are created when a person experiences such a trauma that the 'primary' person can't handle it. The mind then creates an alternate person to deal with that. There are lengthy thesis' about that, too much to go in to, but what it all comes down to is that those personalities are created to protect not destroy the prime, like Wells is trying to do."

Suddenly Cisco is hit with a whirlwind of images. Wells screaming to let him out, how he is going to destroy them all when he gets out. Then it's gone.

Cisco blinks.
"Cisco? You okay?" Joe asks him.
He blinks up at Joe.

"Yeah...yeah" He smiles, "I must be hungry or something. I'm gonna get a snack. You guys want anything?"
Caitlin and Joe shake their heads. Cisco looks over to Barry, but he's too focused on Wenn to acknowledge Cisco.

"I'll better bring him something too. He burns them calories at lightning speed." And he leaves the cortex.

"What the hell was that?" Cisco whispers to himself.
He shakes it off and goes to his locker, mulling over the events of today and what Joe and Barry told him.
"So somehow Wells got stuck inside Barry. But how is that even possible? Eddies death erased him from existence. No... he erased Eobard Thawne from existence. He just took on Wells' appearance. So why is Barry seeing and hearing him in Wells form and not his true form?" Cisco says, frustrated. "There has got to be a connection somehow!"
He opens his locker and grabs some candy bars.

"Connection..." Something clicks in his mind, "That's it!" He slams his locker shut and runs back to the cortex.

"I got it!" He yells as he enters, "I know how Wells is 'inside' Barry!"
Barry gets up, but doesn't leave the side of the bed. "How?!"
Cisco walks up to Barry, "The Speedforce"
Barry looks at him, confused.
"In the months that you were playing on your own out there, Professor Stein and I have been going over his time travel theories and which of his theories fit the best with what you can do. It was a combination, but the most important thing was the Speedforce. It's what he called the 'time travel highway', a bridge way to every alternate timeline out there, maybe even alternate dimensions! BOTH you and Wells use the same highway, the Speedforce." Cisco explains.

"So you're saying he's stuck inside the Speedforce?" Barry asks him.

"Yes! That is how he's been able to torment you; you are connected to him through the Speedforce. What I haven't figured out yet is why he is hanging out there and why he didn't just vaporize after Eddie shot himself." Cisco finishes

"Because Barry stopped the singularity from destroying this timeline." A voice says from the bed.
Barry turns to Wenn and engulfs her in a hug.
"I was so worried about you!"
"Ouw... " Wenn groans

Barry quickly lets her go and starts rambling "I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry, not just for the crushing hug, but I hurt you, god I could have killed you!"
"Barry! Barry!" Wenn snaps him out of his rant.
She puts a hand on his arm. "It's okay. It wasn't your fault."
He takes her hand and kisses it again. They look at each other for a moment, like nothing else in the world exists, until Cisco scrapes his throat.
"Ahum, right, so... you were saying?" He asks Wenn.
Wenn winces as she tries to sit up more. Barry sits down next to her on the bed to support her.
"Eddie shot himself, erasing his descendant. Which means no Reverse Flash, no killing Barry's mom, no living with Joe and Iris, etc, etc. With him gone, this timeline never took place." Wenn explains.

"We live in a friggen paradox!" Cisco whispers, "That is awesome yet... terrifying at the same time."

"Yes, but think about it. The singularity started 'eating' this timeline. Starting with the last thing that happened before it opened, which was Eddie erasing Wells. That part of this timeline was already gone, before Barry closed it. My guess is because of that, Wells is somewhere inbetween existence."

Cisco looks at her in awe, then looks at Barry, "Dude where did you find this one, she's awesome!"
Barry breaks out a huge smile, "I know, right?!"
Wenn blushes.

Caitlin walks over to the bed and puts a hand on Wenns shoulder, "You should be resting. You have a concussion and 3 cracked ribs along with some scrapes and bruises."

Barry looks down at his lap, ashamed.
"I'm so sorry." He whispers
Wenn turns to him,
"Like I said, it wasn't your fault. It was mine."
Barry looks up at her, brows knit together in confusion.
"The negative force in you was growing. I needed to stop it from reaching it's full potential."
Barry sighs, "I told you I wasn't strong enough, he almost came out because of it."
"No Barry," Wenn continues, "he's been wearing you down for months. He needed you emotionally unstable and exhausted to be able to get access to your power. He isn't strong himself, he never was. Just like he needed you to open a gateway to allow him access to the Speedforce again, he now needs you to get him out."

"So what caused the explosion?" Barry asks.
"To stand up to the negative force, I charged you with a positive force. It helped somewhat, but he was still getting stronger, like he was feeding off of it. Then I realized I needed to do the reverse, so I charged you, him, with a negative force. And what happens when you try to put either two positive or two negative sides of a magnet together?"
"They repel each other." Barry answers
"In this case it went boom" Wenn states
Cisco snorts "I REALLY like her."

Barry throws him a look.
Cisco throws up his hands in mock surrender and chuckles "Alright man, backing off."

Barry turns back to Wenn.
"Are you insane?! You could have killed yourself!!"
Wenn chuckles "The world isn't going to miss a human magnet, Barry. But the world needs the Flash."

Barry takes her face in his hands and presses a soft kiss on to her lips. Then whispers,

"need you"
