EVERYTHING FINALLY STARTED LOOKING up in julian's eyes.
It's been a few weeks, now his birthday was tomorrow. And nothing extremely horrible has happened in between that time.
In fact, after the funeral, everything started falling back into place.
Especially trey. Julian felt like the funeral finally gave him the composure to start to actually start accepting the fact his mother was no longer here and consider starting therapy to do right by both his self and julian alike.
It made julian so happy trey was finally going to start feeling better after harboring his emotions for so long.
Just letting him self go, and feel. Becoming less anxious and on high alert all the time.
And then, rayjay. He had court at the end of the month now. Right before julian graduated. And it was looking like he'd be free and able to attend it. With slight restrictions. Which was amazing.
Celina was happy, considering she wasn't getting any less pregnant. Her boyfriend and future father of her child would be at her's and his own graduation.
She couldn't be more ecstatic, and julian was extremely happy for her. This was something she truly deserved.
It eased trey's heart too. Julian could tell. The guilt was weighing on him. Even if he didn't say it much. So it was another thing taken off trey, just to make his feelings a little more light.
Demetri was in the hospital still. But never attempted to get in contact with any of the group. Not julian. Not makai. Not devon. Not celina. Not rayjay. Not trey. Not anyone. His family completely went silent.
Court for rayjay was still happening unfortunately, but only because the law was already involved and everything had been set up. But because of the fortunate detail of demetri and his family basically dropping the charges, rayjay had no worries anymore. He's get off free with slight restrictions. That's all. If that.
Makai had finally let go of everything. His feelings for julian and his guilt for being involved with demetri. He had a long talk with rayjay and an even longer talk with trey. He was just going through life doing whatever he could to make it up to essentially everyone.
Not to mention sat down and completely told julian he was going completely solo. And just needed to work on mended things and making everything right.
Like taking on whatever community service rayjay might get. And so on. He even wanted to swap positions. Like take his spot behind the jail cell, but rayjay obviously refused because that's not how it works. It went down as rayjay did it, so he had to stay behind bars until otherwise.
