TREY PULLED UP TO THE HOSPITAL with a heavy heart, looking at it through his window debating when he should get out.

He felt like he knew what he was about to be told about his mother. And he knew he wasn't about to like it.

Unfortunate news only means one thing for somebody in his mother's position.

Trey didn't know how he was going to react when he got told what he knew they were going to say.

He felt like he was drowning, and nobody was there to catch him already. All this was going to do was make sure he sunk.

But he couldn't stay in his car forever, hiding from the truth.

Even if he wanted to.

Even if all he wanted to was stay his car and think about life his mama and when she was healthy, and active with him. Showing him he loved her, and how much he meant to her.

And his life with his mom before the fighting. Before the drugs he sold. Before lamar.

So he changed out of the clothes he was in, the bloody ones, as quickly as he could, putting on some clothes he had in the back seat. A grey shirt, a hoodie and some grey sweatpants before he got out and made his way into the hospital.

Then he got out, putting the figurative mask on he always had. A blank face, to show nothing of how he was actually feeling, and then walked inside HCA, the hospital his mother was in.

A nurse stopped him right when he walked in. It wasn't a familiar looking nurse, but he assumed it was the nurse on the phone who called him.

"Mr marshells I presume?" She said in a voice that sounded similar to the one on the phone, confirming his suspicions.

But trey didn't say anything in response to her, and just stared at her with his dreads hanging, not in the way, and his hood not covering his head.

So basically, you could see his face. You couldn't see all the conflicting emotions in his body, or the hurt in his heart though.

You only could see what trey allowed, and it wasn't much at that moment. It wasn't much ever now because whenever he showed he how he felt, only fucked up shit happened.
