JULIAN STARED UP A RED with widened eyes. His eyes were bloodshot, almost like he was crying or something but he didn't seem like the type to cry, and red's hand, his left hand was on his waist so tight he felt like he couldn't breathe.

He didn't know how to react, nor did he know what was happening as he stared into his, red's blood shot dark brown eyes, through his glasses.

Julian was so confused he didn't even peep the movement red made behind him, or something falling, and hitting the cement behind hard.

Because red's hand was wrapped so tightly around him, he was basically being pulled, and so his body was pressed against red's so much he could feel his heart beat, every crevice on his body, and his hard muscles.

All he did today was go to school, stay in his grand dad's barber shop for an hour or so, and then go home. He got hungry so he came back out an hour ago to pick some food up, which he had in the bag that was wrapped around his arm, just to bump into red and have his arm being snaked around julian's waist, basically making julian lie against his chest.

Red. The guy who barely talked. The guy who had marks on his face all the time. The guy he stayed making a fool of his self in front of. The guy who seemed to hate him. The guy who called him shorty recently.

The guy his curiosity seemed to take the most interest in, the most interest than it's ever had for anything else, for no reason without letting up.

Had his arm around julian's waist so tightly, his fingers were digging into his back, and julian's face was almost against his chest along with the rest of his body.

Julian felt like he missed something. Something big that he couldn't put his finger on.

But before he could even register anything, the hand that was wrapped so tightly around his waist like it was supposed to be there ripped away from him, and then red was pulling away before he started walking in the opposite direction not saying anything at all.

He didn't know how to react, so even though he knew it was red, he said, "Wait... r-red? Is that you? What's going on? Why did you just-"

He didn't get to finish because red cut him off. "Pay attention to yo surroundings, shorty."

Then he turnt a corner, and he disappeared behind a dark building.

Julian didn't even take in account he called him shorty, which he hated, and watched the place where he stood at for a second once his eyes left his back that had walked away from him.

Or more than a second he couldn't tell.

All he knew was his waist which red held so tight, almost protectively as he was pressed against his chest, felt hot. So hot his whole body felt warm too.
