TREY STARED AT THE BACK OF THE EMPTY HOUSE. It had boxes everywhere inside. Trash everywhere. But it was okay.

Because it was his. He rented it. Just until he could buy it, and have something to call his own officially.

And he was moving into it, today.

Or well starting to. Might take a while to move all his shit from the air bnb to here since he moved back to around where his shorty stayed, and it was hours in between the two. But it was definitely a process that was worth it.

He moved away to stay lowkey, when everything was fresh and he was still on the run. Now that it's been awhile, he felt like he could actually move here and stay with his shorty. Safely. It's been okay so far. So why not?

Plus, having his own place so close meant they could be together. Until they eventually moved in together. Because julian graduated and trey hadnt been to high school in a long ass time. He's just going to take the ged route and go to some community college honestly.

So there was nothing stopping them from doing so. You know, moving in. They just haven't talked about it.

Yet.

But now they had all the time in the world, so. It'll happen.

It's been about two weeks since julian and his friends graduated, and a few weeks since julian's birthday.

Since he promised julian he'd marry him one day with their promise rings.

The promise rings he got right before julian's birthday. Already made the purchase a while ago, he just needed to get them custom designed. With their initials.
