IN THAT HOSPITAL ROOM, TREY FELT his resolve start to slip as everything starting becoming clear to him.

He held julian as tight as he could. He had to. His
revelation forced him to.

He wasn't 100% sure, but he was more than a bit concerned. And that was more than enough to put his guard immediately back up. So it was.

Julian's grandfather suddenly falling into a coma after being in great condition wasn't just bad luck. Not when trey still lived to breathe every day.

No.

It had to be him.

Right?

He knew where trey was. He been knew where trey was.

And he knows where he is now? Maybe?

Naw. There was no doubt about it. He definitely does.

All the weird feelings he'd get randomly, not to mention that stare down at the hospital. Trey could feel eyes on him and never leave him or julian once.

It was because he was watching.

Lamar bishop.

He was still around here somewhere even though trey bailed on that life. Lamar never left.

Trey's paranoia was definitely kicking in. He hasn't been able to get a good night sleep since this realization.

Julian was stirring on his chest, as they laid in bed. barely getting sleep as well. But not because of what trey knew, no, it was because his grandfather was no better than before.

It's been like three days since the hospital call and visit. And julian has been looking more and more restless.

Trey wants to tell him what he knows. Or what he assumes, since it's just a speculation, and he is. Tonight. So they could leave. Go far away. For a while. This time the both of them. Not just trey. Because lamar is after them both. It's clear. He came after his ducking grandfather for fucks sakes. He can't just leave him behind.

He won't.

Not that he would've either way. They were a packaged deal.

Everywhere he went, julian followed.

And will always, no matter what or where.

But julian hasn't wanted to leave the house his grandfather owned since the hospital visit. He just stays in all day crying on trey. Day in and day out.

Crying on trey.

It hurt trey seeing him like this. Reminded him of when he first got the news his mother was dying. His heart felt like it stopped.
