JULIAN DIDNT SEE IT COMING. One minute he was in the bed barely breathing, but walking out the door anyway because he heard a knock and thought it was trey with the chicken, the next...

He was on the ground, unconscious while his neighbor stood over him with a phone in her hand. Calling the police who arrived in under five minutes.

Extreme déjà vu. From what happened before. A few months ago.

Being ran behind by a masked man. Who punched and hit every part of julian's body he could reach before running off without looking back. Just as julian's body crashed on the ground.

He was barely breathing before coming outside, now he felt like throwing up his heart.

Then his eyes started and he blacked out.

Everything was a blur.

Julian heard trey scream his name, and then felt his body being strapped to something.

He felt movement. Like he was being transported somewhere.

And then everything went silent.

When he woke up finally regaining his consciousness, he was face to face with a very out of the ordinary looking trey. Who eyes were focused on him and nothing else.

He looked so worried.

So scared.

It made julian wonder what went wrong so fast?

Especially because julian's body felt weak. Like he hadn't moved his muscles in a while. It made his blood run cold at the thought.

"What h-" Trey immediately shushed him with a kiss, and then grabbed his torso, lifting him as gently off the bed as he could before he gave him a hug.

"Don't talk, just let me hug you."

Julian nodded and melted into his hug. He figured trey would talk when he wanted to, explaining everything. So he'd let him.

Plus trey's warmth felt almost alien. In the sense he hadn't felt it in a while, so julian let his self enjoy it. As much as possible.

Eventually trey did decide to speak. "You've been unconscious for a week."

"The doctors had no idea when you'd wake up or if you'd fall into a coma."

Julian froze up. What?

"Fuck shorty. I was losin' my fuckin' mind. I thought ... I thought.. fuck." Trey clammed up.

Julian had no trouble piecing together what trey's mind was going to. More so his late mother's situation probably, and it scared him. Julian could see it in his eyes.

Julian looked down at his arms, he was shaking. It was the most scared julian had even seen trey. So julian didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around him and hug him as tight as he needed to.

"I'm right here trey. I promise." Julian whispered.

"Don't fuckin' scare me like dat again. Ever. I'm nothin' without you. I can't lose you. FUCK. Please baby. Please don't leave me." Trey cried out before putting his head into the crook of julian's neck.

Julian simply just hugged him tighter as tears slipped out his eyes. Everything started crashing back into perspective for him.

What happened with his grand dad. What happened to him. The ping in his heart he always felt when trey looked so horrible because of him. He was crying right now. For julian.

It was too much, he couldn't do anything but cry with trey.

His body hurt as much as his heart.

It was too much.

Too much.
