Adam

No!

No no no!

What was going on. Has this all really happened to her?

Adam thought angrily as he sat there and listened to what Farida was saying.

Oh Allah what has he done!

"And I won't blame you if you want to leave me I'm okay with it." Farida said and Adam's eyes widened.

Oh now how much he regretted not telling her he loved her yesterday.

He regretted to ever making her feel like she was unloved by him when in reality he wanted nothing but it gave in in her embrace.

"Farida I-" but she didn't let him finish.

She told him how she was okay with it all.

But no she wasn't. And she shouldn't be.

He loves her for Allah's sake!

He loves her so much. She can't just assume that he will leave her.

She turned to her parents and told them how sorry she wasn't what they expected.

Adam's own eyes turned to Farida's so called parents.

Are they the same people who Adam thought loved their child infinitely?

Are they the same people Adam looked up at then and admired how much of a perfect family they were?

They weren't!

Farida then took a step back almost falling, Adam stood up to catch her when he saw her eyes filled with tears.

She looked horrified. Her eyes were widened at her parents.

Whom now both held expressions of guilt!

Why did even Halima bring this up?

Did she actually thought that Adam will leave her daughter if he knew she couldn't have children?

Why was she so cruel to her own daughter?

Adam remembered how yesterday Farida was so worked up about that Moyer who left her own child and practically sold them for more money.

He didn't understand why Farida was like that then but now he does.

He understands so much.

It was because her own parents  sold her for their reputation.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Farida soft broken voice brought Adam's attention back to her.

Before anyone on the room could react Farida ran and was out of the house in mere seconds.

Adam turned to follow her. But before he did he turned to her parents.

"She is a strong soul and you're really losing so much for not knowing her better." He didn't wait for a reaction or a respond from them and sprang out of the house.

Once he was out his head searched for Farida trying to find where she went.

But from far away he heard a horn of a car and turned his attention to there.

He saw Farida running to crops the street and the car coming fast towards her.

Adam's eyes widened.

"Farida stop!" He shouted to her.

But it was too late. Before he Clios even blink Farida was on the floor and blood was oozing out on the street.
