Farida

"You ready to go?" Adam asked as Farida stepped out of the bathroom.

She in return, gave a nervous smile.

It was silly to feel nervous about meeting your parents. But Farida couldn't help but to be.

"Yeah I am let's go." She said and walked passed him to the door.

Adam soon follow her and they make their way outside of the house.

Once they're both seated in the car, Adam slowly turns to her and gives her a reassuring smile of his own.

Farida smiles back.

It's funny how apologizing and a talk could change everything.

While they were angry at each other for two months, one night changed it all.

Farida had been so shocked when Adam talked to her yesterday.

He had gone to America a few weeks ago and only came back less than a week.

She didn't know what he did there but at that time she thought she was there to meet this Lucy girl.

And although she is hurt, she won't say anything.

Mostly because in this little time that he had been gone, Farida missed him so badly.

Sure they haven't talked properly for more than a month before he left and they haven't shared the same room, she still missed him.

She missed him too much and it hurt.

Mostly it was at that time that she realized how deeply she has already fallen for Adam. How in love she was with him.

And she will continue to love him for the sake of Allah.

Like she had said before, there is a bound between them. An unbreakable one. They have been joined with the will of Allah.

And if they are together for the sake of Allah then she won't be the one to break the one thing that she loves most.

She won't tear her heart more.

And if still Adam didn't want her and at some point wanted to leave her she was okay with that. She won't hold him back.

The feeling of rejection was still fresh though.

Ever since she had sort of confessed yesterday that she was in love with him there had been this tugging feeling at her heart.

She was waiting in anticipation. And although she had told herself more than once to not get her hopes up, that he felt nothing like she felt towards him.

But she still won't give up. She loves him. And for the first time since a long time she felt content with her feelings.

Soon after they drove, they reached their location.

The two stored house came into view and Farida internally cringed.

She wasn't sure that she was ready to face her parents.

Any normal girl would be flying with happiness to finally meet her parents but not her.

Although she had talked to them over the phone countless of times since she has gotten married. It still isn't the same as meeting them in person.

She felt nothing but dread for this dinner.

Her Parents would expect her to have changed in the last couple of months. They will expect her to have changed.
