Kasi's pov

I did it. I knew I could. I'm going to invite them over for dinner.

Miranda's pov

"You got the plan down?" I ask. He smiles and nods. "She's not the only trickster of the family." He says. We're gonna get Kasi back for tricking us. She pulls up in her truck.

Jason's pov

Wait. I should be thanking her. What she did might have been deceiteful but it got me my girl back. "I don't think we should prank her back." I say. "What? Oh come on, don't be a goody two shoes now!" She gasps. "I'm not. It's just what she did got me my love of my life back."

Miranda's pov

Wow. I didn't expect him to say that! He smiles and rests a hand on my cheek, wiping away tears I didn't even know were there. "How about instead we go up in my plane." "Sounds great!" I gasp. He opens the door as Kasi closes her truck door. "Oh hey girl, what a nice surprise." Jason says, although we knew she was here the whole time. "I was wondering if ya wanted to come to dinner. To you know christen the new house." She says. "Sorry Kasi but we're going up in my plane." He says. "Ok maybe next time." She says, waving. After she leaves I can't help but laugh. He laughs slightly confused. "What's so funny?" He asks. "You silly. You looked like a boxed in mouse cornered by a cat!" I gasp, clutching my stomach, which hurt from laughing. "Whatever. Let's go." He says, shaking his head and holding my hand.

*20 minutes later*

He's showing me an aerial view of Macon. It's definitely the coolest thing I've ever done. He flips some switches. "Ok, I'm gonna land now." He says. I nod and look out the window as we descend. "Man, that was so much fun Jay. Thanks!" I gasp, hugging him.

*3 days later*

Now I'm going to show him what I do. We pull up on the streets of Nashville.

Jason's pov

She walks in the bar, carrying a guitar and a smile. She plays and man can she sing. Her voice melts my heart just like it did all those years ago. I haven't sung in a while. I wonder if I still have what it takes. I walk onstage and kiss her cheek. "Play somethin' country." I whisper. That was the song we always played together. It was our song. Her eyes tear up. "Oh Jason, I love you!" She cries, hugging me. "I love you too sweetheart." I say. Then she co.poses herself and starts playing with me singing. After we finish a guy in a suit walks over to the stage. I lower the mic. "Who are you?" Gasps from the crowd including my girlfriend. "I uh what'd I say?" "That guy leads the most famous record company in the country!" She gapes. "Ok, what's that got to do with me?" "Jason! Shut up!" She cries, slapping her forehead. She gets off the stool and walks over. "I'd like to make you two a duo at my record company." He says. "Oh my gosh this is amazing!" I'm not sure what's going on so I'm just gonna roll with it. She grabs my hand. "We're gonna be a successful duo just like we always dreamed!" She cries, hugging me. "Isn't it a little late for that?" I ask. "It's never too late to follow your dreams." She says. I smile. "You're right baby, let's go be a duo."
