Jason's pov

Me and Luke were talking about how I regretted my decisions and everything while she was at a spa getting ready for the wedding tomorrow. "I mean yes of course I wanna marry her. I love her and all but...... It just..... I feel like she doesn't deserve to be with a selfish ass like me. She deserves someone who will always be there and never leave...... Like I did." "Jason, none of that matters. What matters is you love her and she loves you. She can't stand to be apart from you." I sigh. "Which is what makes it worse since I abandoned her!" He shakes his head. "Damn you hardheaded redneck. How on earth will I ever get through to you." I spin around caught off guard. "What? When did you get back?" She smiles, tears shimmering in her eyes. "Baby I'm sorry I didn't want you to hear all that!" I punch Luke in the stomach. "Why didn't you tell me she was there?" He rolls his eyes. "Jason, I'm glad I know how you feel. So I can put your mind at ease." "You.... Huh? What?" She walks over and holds my hand. "You're right I was upset about losing you. But it doesn't matter. You're back now. That's what matters. Nothing else. Luke is right. What matters now is our love for each other." Tears come to my eyes. "Baby why do you put up with me?" She laughs. "Well call me crazy." She says with a shrug and a roll of her eyes. A light laugh escapes me. I hug her tight. "I love you Jason." "I love you too."

*the next day*

I showed up a quarter hour late and everything was chaos. "Sorry I'm so late. I had a bad run in with traffic." I murmur. "It doesn't matter. You're here now." Kasi said patting my shoulder.

Miranda's pov

Kasi walked back in and told me Jason was here. I breathed a relieved sigh. "Bad traffic jam." She says. Thank God! I finish off my dress and walk out to my knight in shining aluminum foil. He smiles and I notice he didn't have time to shave. I don't mind. I like a little scruff. I walk down the aisle and stand beside the handsome green eyed adventurer. "You look gorgeous." He whispers, never taking his eyes off me. "You too, cowboy." He smiles and takes my hand.

*later*

I rest my hand against his scruffy cheek. He chuckles softly and puts a hand over mine. "This is the best day of my life." I whisper. "You may kiss the bride." The preacher says. He wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up, planting a soft kiss on my lips. I close my eyes, tears streaming down them as I wrap my arms around his neck. For the honeymoon, he flies us to a Mt Everest themed hotel. "Our first adventure together!" I gasp. He smiles and holds me in his arms. "I may have been on so many adventures but I'm about to start the best one yet." Huh?! He's going on another adventure?! He kisses me softly. "A seventy five year long journey called life. And it's gonna be the best adventure I've ever been on. Oh my gosh! "Oh Jason!" I gasp, my voice wavering as tears stream down my cheeks. "I love you baby." He says. "I love you too." I say as he kisses me hard as the full moon hangs high in the sky. It was definitely a wedding to remember.
