I couldn't sleep.
Well I mean, who could've after experiencing that?
My father had such a disappointed face...
Worth it. I don't want to live up to his expectations, and I know he thinks the best, but...
It's not for me.
I was currently sitting outside a tent that Kiba and Shino built in the middle of the woods, but it wasn't very creepy.
It was probably hard to build the tent with me throwing insults at them the whole time.
But that was worth it too.
The stars were visible from the woods, and it reminded me of my home.
I've probably put a lot of pressure on my fathers shoulders...and his men are still after me.
<<Flashback<<
"Oh yeah!" I shouted victoriously as we ran into the Market doors.
The second we reached, I started giggling. It was actually pretty fun.
"What are you shmuckling about?" Kiba asked as he looked for the exit. I went over to the exit and motioned them to follow.
"Did you just say shmuckling?" I asked him, giggling some more at his stupid word.
"Yeah, I did. I thought you weren't deaf, Hina." He grinned.
I stuck my tongue out at him and he made a face that said "oh-my-god-Hina-that-was-really-mean!"
"Hinata," Shino said suddenly, his left arm holding the draping cloth that was covering the exit,"did you know how the exit looked like?"
I quirked my eyebrow at him. What was he talking about?
I shook my head in confusion and he sighed, and pointed to the exit.
Oh my God.
The exit was a vent. A very small vent that would take a lot of effort crawling through. Why me?!
I gave Shino and Kiba a hesitant look, but then I heard the shouts of Leo and Calivar, my fathers men, nearing us.
I panicked, and jumped into the vent.
>>Present>>
It was great, actually. The whole time in the vent was Kiba and Shino arguing quietly at each other.
Apparently, Shino kept bumping into Kiba's butt.
I was chuckling to myself when my stomach growled. Loud.
I hope it didn't wake those two up. I rubbed my stomach. Tomorrow, we are not stopping until we find a place to eat. I've got eating issues, and I'm not afraid to use them.
Maybe...maybe we just need a place to stay until we figure out what to do. I didn't actually plan anything out except for running away, but that ended up in complete failure. See what happens when I organize stuff?
I took a deep breath as I trudged over to my tent and closed my eyes.
~The Next Morning~
That's it. I officially hate the Sun.
Stop shining your shiny rays on me, you dumb bastard!
We woke up so late, and I didn't even get to see the Sun rise!
