"We have one hour, Hinata! That's plenty enough time to get a makeover!" Sakura embraced her long arms around my torso because I kept fidgeting whenever she tried to apply makeup on.
"What's the need for makeup?!" I tried to run, but her demons hold really held me.
"Listen girl, Naruto probably likes you, and you obviously like him and now you two are basically going on a date." The blonde girl raised an eyeliner to my face.
Who the blonde girl was, you ask?
Ino Yamanaka, Sakura's best friend as well as a professional make up artist.
Aka something I did not ask for.
"What are you saying, Ino? Naruto doesn't probably like her, he likes her." Sakura spoke in a matter of fact tone, and Ino nodded to that.
"You don't have any proof that he does." I crossed my arms and sighed.
They were making a big deal out of this.
"Hinata, you're blind." Ino chuckled as she leaned in to apply some eyeliner onto me.
I caught her arm just before she could, "I can see perfectly fine, thank you," and stood up from the chair they were holding me in, "also, if he did like me, he would like me for who I am and who I am is not someone who likes makeup."
This made them sigh, "Hinata, we are not trying to change you."
Did they not see how uncomfortable I was?
"Sure looks like it." I muttered.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate makeup. It just wasn't my thing, and it wasn't going to ever be.
"Hinata, it isn't that we're trying to change you," Sakura placed her hand on my shoulder gently before I lightly shrugged it off.
I don't hate makeup, I really don't. It's just that my mother left her 6 year old daughter and husband to open up a salon and live her life. I wasn't really fond of anything that had to do with makeup all together, hence why I look like a hobo right now.
Although, I probably did the same thing Mom did. I left home because I didn't want to be told what to do, and wanted to live my life the way I wanted it.
I guess we both left Dad.
That thought didn't sit well with me. As guilty as he may be for pushing me around, he's been alone for too long.
But I can't worry about that right now.
I have a job to do.
"I'm only going there for 2 hours, guys. It's not a big deal. I don't need to get a makeover." I said quietly whilst making myself comfortable on Sakura's bed.
"No, Hinata, we're only going to apply a little bit. You won't even feel it on you." Ino sat on the edge of the bed abruptly, making the mattress jump a little.
"Ino, she's not fond of it. Let's not push her." Sakura gave her a small smile.
Ino looked at Sakura with a look of hope, but Sakura shook her head. "Damn, I wanted to try my skills on a pretty face like Hinatas." Ino commented, making me blush.
