I wandered aimlessly when Sakura's pink hair caught my eyes. I wiped the wetness from them and put on a forced smile that I thought would fool them.

"Hey," Sakura sat next to me on the hard cement, "how'd it go?"

I pulled back my hair behind my ears and shrugged.

She seemed to get the hint that it didn't exactly go well, and she sighed, "He's a fool, he'll get over it."

I knew she was trying to cheer me up, but I couldn't find the courage to do so.

"Uh huh." I murmured.

She patted my shoulder, "No, I'm serious. He's not one to hold a grudge. He will get over it." She jumped up, and gave me a wide smile that I failed to return.

I only just met Naruto but I felt like I had known him for so long.

But why am I feeling so down?

"Here," Rin's smooth voice made me look up, "dry up."

In his hand was a white towel. I instantly grabbed it, making Rin chuckle.

"Your trembling," He noticed and was about to remove his jacket before I stopped him.

"I'm fine."

No, you're not.

He nodded, and after that he had a huge grin on his face. "Hey Fine, I'm Rin."

I shook my head at his lame attempt at a joke, but felt my lips tilt upwards anyways.

I wrapped the towel around my shoulders, trying not to remember what had just happened a few minutes ago.

"So," Rin sat next to me, "you really gave us the scare back there."

It took me a second for me to get what he was talking about.

"Ah, yeah. I'm sorry." I said, not really in the mood to talk.

"I know, it's just that Naruto was really freaking out." He said casually, and leaned back a bit.

That caught my attention.

"What?"

"Yeah, he was all like," Rin coughed, looking like he was about to say something in a different voice from his, "Sakura-chan! You got to help her, and fast! She's gonna die! Hurry!" Rin imitated Naruto in the most girly voice anyone has ever heard.

Hearing his voice, I burst out laughing when he stretched out "chan".

"He really did that?" I asked, the laughter echoing in my voice.

He nods, "Of course he did, he would never leave his comrades like that."

Like that, huh?

If only you knew.

"Are you okay?"

I turned my head a bit to see Rin not smiling anymore, and was looking at me like I was something worth getting worried over.

I nod, "Yeah."

"It's just that, you were unconscious for a while. This is the first time I've seen someone drown---well, almost, and it not something I'd like to see ever again." He shrugged, and crossed his legs.

I smile at his kindness, "I'm okay---just don't like things like that."

"Why is that?" He cocked his head to the side.

"I don't know, I guess I'm just not a watery kind of person."

He started laughing, "What does that even mean?"

I shrugged, a grin forming onto my lips, "Ask my brain."

He chuckled some more before reaching into his pockets for something. He held two pieces of paper between his index finger and thumb and shoved them in my face.

THE SCORCH TRIALS.

"It's a horror movie," Rin sounded excited, "and apparently no one here likes nerd movies."

Out of the corner of my eye, I spot Hiyori's indifferent looking face as I chat with Rin.

"I love all kinds of movies!" I chuckle as Rin grinned.

"So you're willing to watch it with me?" He asked, a bit of pleading in his voice.

"Of course." I answer, clutching the ticket.

"Then you might wanna dry up faster, the movie starts in 3."

"Hey, Hinata! Wait!" Rin's shouts made me stop running.

You see, we were 10 minutes late.

I had no choice but to run.

"Hey, chill, would ya? The advertisements are still on screen." Rin chuckled as he panted for breath.

Well, excuse me.

"Plus," he took a deep breath, "we would have the second row seats."

"I am watching every bit of that movie." I inform him while poking his cheek.

"Alright, madam, but if I nerd-gasm earlier than expected then the blames on you." He said in a serious tone.

Sure enough, the ads were still playing as we sat in our seats. We didn't get any food though, much to my dismay.

When the movie started, I caught a glimpse of blonde spiky hair bobbing down the aisle, and stopping at the front row, aka the row in front of me.

The orange pants told me exactly who it was.

He sat in the seat in front of me and took a deep breath as the scene came into play.

It was hard to pay attention when the person who I've felt like I've known for a long time was in front of me.

But really I've known him for two days.

And he hadn't noticed me at all.

A while into the movie, he got up making me on full alert. Rin was supposedly getting food.

He got up, and was finally facing me.
