Naruto (what the actual frikin mozzarella sticks?!)

Lmao nah jk it's still

Hinata

"We have to talk." Naruto said, no emotion whatsoever evident in his voice. Even through the darkness of that room, I could see his bright blue eyes darkening as his eyebrows connected.

I didn't hesitate. I walked behind him as he trotted up the aisle.

"Soo," I said awkwardly when he finally stopped right outside the theatre.

Of course, my brain takes this time to think of all the negative things he could say instead of all the positive ones.

You freaking turd of a brain!

"I'm not gonna say much," he said while chuckling, making me confused. He wasn't looking at me at all, and his back was facing me.

He finally turned around and I caught a glimpse of red on his cheeks.

Oh, haha. He's embarrassed.

Wait, why is that?

"Imsorrylsaidthosethingstoyouyouwereonlytryingtohelpyourcomradeblahblahblaharewefriendsnow?" He blurted out all at once, the only words I caught were "sorry" and "friends".

"Repeat that," I demanded him, "slowly."

He looked annoyed but nodded, "I..."

He didn't say anything after that so I motioned for him to.

"Am..."

He isn't serious, is he?

"Sorr---" My fist collided with his face.

He fell back and groaned, but once he got up he had an amused face.

I took a deep breath as he got up and dusted his pants. This jerk! How could he play when he was so rude and kind of menacing earlier?!

Well, he just can.

Touché.

"Are you even serious right now?" I crossed my arms and looked him straight in the eye.

"What does it look like?" He grinned, giving me the answer I asked for.

I resisted the urge to punch him, but that was before we fell into an awkward silence.

Why the heck did he bring me here if he wasn't gonna say anything?!

"Are you gonna stay?" He finally spoke but his voice wasn't anything near playful.

That's kinda something I'm not grateful for, if he was playing then he wasn't serious. If he was serious, it would be bad.

Learned that the hard way.

I thought about his question for a minute, "Here, in Konoha?" he nodded.

"It's really dark out, so I guess I could say here 'till morning." I shrugged.

"You should stay here for a while," I searched his eyes for any sign that would be anything near a joke, but he was completely serious, "It's fun having you around."

At first, it was heart-warming.

"Oh really? I didn't notice, you ignored me for 6 hours after all." I smiled, but we could all tell that it wasn't real.

He grunted, "About that..."

He rubbed his neck, "I'm sorry," he breathed out but didn't meet my eyes, "you were only trying to help. Are we good now, Hinata?"

I grinned as soon as my name rolled off his tongue, "Yep, we're buddy-buddies now." I clapped my hands together.

He grinned back, "If that's the case...can I call you Hina?"

I pinched his cheek and then grabbed him by the ear, whispering into it.

"Not a chance."

I started walking down the side walk after hearing him hiss from the pain, which obviously satisfied me, but he soon caught up to me.

"If not Hina, how about Hi-hi?"

That only earned him a slap across his face.

>>>>>>>

"I am not going to sleep on your damned floor, Uzumaki!" I shouted and he growled in annoyance.

We were currently in his apartment, and might I just say something? He had but one bedroom.

We caught up with Sakura and the others with happy faces, but those faces soon turned into frowns when I soon asked her where I would be staying for the night.

Apparently, she, Kiba and Shino would be staying with Sasuke since her parents aren't home and they wouldn't allow her into the house if they weren't there.

But, Sasuke only had four rooms.

"So... what about me...?" I so patiently asked.

"Um...if you don't mind, Hinata..." Sasuke scratched his nose.

"What?" I asked, the panic clogging my throat.

"Would you stay with Naruto?"

Good times.

Kiba even gave me a sad smile before walking away.

"Then where would you sleep, Hinata?!" He shouted back, even louder this time.

I stomped my foot, "Oh, I don't know, maybe the bed?!"

He face palmed, "Then where do I sleep?!"

I grunted, I wasn't going to make him sleep on the floor in his own house. But that didn't mean I was going to let myself sleep on the floor or the couch either.

I hesitantly grabbed a few cushions and placed them in a line on the bed, "Don't cross this line." I said, flustered.

He didn't say anything for a while, "You mean... we are gonna sleep in the same bed?"

I nodded slowly, not ready to look at his face.

"Eh, works for me." He agreed without hesitation, which had me in awe.

Sharing a bed with a boy? Dad would kill me if he saw this.

Good thing he wasn't going to.

I was miles away from him.

Naruto had already shut the lights, and I climbed into the sheets. But sleep was far away.

I still wasn't used to the idea.

I stared at the ceiling for what seemed like forever until Naruto spoke.

He still wasn't asleep?

"Hey Hinata..." He said slowly which got my attention, and I stared at his back.

"Hey Naruto." I mocked.

"At the theatre..." He moved so he was facing me.

"What about it?"

"Rin was with you, right?" His brows furrowed together and worry and realization filled his eyes.

He had a small smile on his face.

"Yeah, so?" I asked, not sure where he was going with this.

"So where is he now?"

a/n

Did you forget about Rin? 😏

Haha, those little shits.

Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chappie! Stay tuned for the next one! ;D
