"Hinata, don't run away this time." He spoke in a tone that made me want to believe that going back with him would solve everything.
But I knew better than that.
I hesitantly turned to face the demanding structure of my Fathers eyes. They may appear to look as mine, but they are not at all similar.
One demanded to live by the rules, do as you are told and you'd be successful.
But the other had a mind of its own.
I was that other.
And we were both determined to live by what we'd want to live by.
I was aware that I was going to face him sooner or later yet I refused to do so.
"Father." I spoke loud enough for him to hear, but I tried to make the wrinkles on my forehead more noticeable.
So he could see how much stress and worry he's put me through.
But I suppose he didn't care about that, his career was the only thing that he thought was worth caring for.
Pushing away the tears, I stood up to finally face him.
This is it, Hinata. This is where it all ends.
"Hinata," his voice interrupted me from my swarm of thoughts, "Please, just listen to what I have to say this time."
I was a challenger, though.
I would never listen to the rules.
"Or else what?"
He looked taken back and clenched on to his wooden walking stick. But alas he spoke, "You know what."
"No, that's why I asked, Father." I made sure the last word stood out.
He gazed into my eyes, probably looking for a sign that told him I was joking.
But he didn't have to since he already knew.
"Then I must use force against you, despite my will not to." He replied.
I gritted my teeth, "Then that's not a will, is it?"
He was one of those people that no matter what they did you would get surprised by their actions.
My father smiled at me.
It may seem ordinary, but to me it was a moment where if you didn't pull out your camera fast and snap this onto your camera then you wouldn't get this moment after that.
He always wore bering expressions, and always seemed uninterested. He was until someone mentioned me.
Me as in me as the heir.
"I suppose it isn't then." He said in a serene tone that made me frustrated.
We were once a small family and indignant. My father had wanted us to stay that way until he decided he had enough. As poor people, we were easy to manipulate you see.
