Nothing could be worse than this.
Stupid barrels!
"I thought this day would never come, believe it!" The man chuckled as he stopped 2 feet away from me. "Wha--"
"Look, I'll congratulate you for spotting me, but I don't have time for you right now." I spat out harshly, his amused face turning into a confused one.
"And here I thought you'd be a sweet girl." I rolled my eyes at that and he frowned.
"Well you thought wrong. Never judge a book by its cover, remember?" I said in an obvious tone.
I turned my head around to look for Shino and Kiba, but then I freaked out because they weren't there and the men had already moved from their spot, and were closer than before.
I then turned my head around again, only to face the man but he had pushed his lips aside.
How did he get those whiskers?!
"I was born with them," he smiled again, "pretty sweet, huh?" I smirked.
"You look like a kitty." I said and he smirked. "Kittens are cute though."
"Not the ugly ones." My smirk widened and his was replaced with a frown. "I'm not ugly, believe it!" He crossed his arms.
"You sure about that, Kigly?"
"The heck is a Kigly?"
"You're a Kigly."
"What is it though?"
"An ugly kitten." And his frown deepened. "I'm not a Kigly!"
"Whatever helps you sleep at night, Kigly. Seriously now," I said as I turned my head around to watch the guards come closer, "you need to go--" I couldn't finish my sentence because I had turned my head around again, and Kigly had crouched down next to me, his face was 2cm away from mine and of course, my face went into its tomato faze as I do blush at stupid things, but he had a huge grin on his face washing away my blush completely.
"So you care whether I get my rest or not?" And his grin grew wider, if that was possible.
It took me a minute to get what he was saying, and I resisted the urge to kill him.
"You wish." I snorted and went back to looking out for the guards. But then I felt heat upon my back, and Kigly's sharp chin rested on my shoulder.
"What are you looking for? You keep turning your head." He asked, his chin still on my shoulder.
I didn't reply, and I continued staring at him and for some reason, I was annoyed at him.
"You smell good." He said suddenly and that was the last straw. I shrugged him off and gritted my teeth.
"None of your business." I snarled.
He was still leaning on me.
"Is it those two guys over there?" He said, nodding his head in the direction of Leo and Calivar.
I just shrugged and he chuckled as he moved away from me, my back suddenly feeling cold as he got up and dusted his pants.
"Do they want you for something?" He asked and I just shrugged again, getting worried to where Kiba and Shino were.
He sighed and I turned away from him again, but before I could, he grabbed my arm and made me stand up. But he grabbed me a little too hard and I clashed into his chest.
