I know some people don't like this but there will be talk about bullying. Bullying will happen in the story, and there will be talk of depression, suicide, and self-harm. Just a fore warning. All of it wont be in this chapter it'll be spread through out the chapters but I thought I would forewarn you.

We had finally made it to Luke's house, and he turned to me.

"Sorry in advance about my mom," he said.

"I'm sure there won't be a problem," I said.

He turned the door knob and swung it open. He walked in with me behind, and his house smelt good. Like a mixture of vanilla and brown sugar. The furniture was modern, and everything looked well kept.

"Mom I'm home!"

"Come here," she said her voice sounded harsh and mean and my heart rate started to rise as I started to fear his mother.

Luke followed her voice into the kitchen. I followed Luke, and his mom was there.

"Well hello," she said a smile etched onto her face. Her voice was soothed now and no trace of anger was left. She also had an accent like Luke. "And who must you be?"

"I'm Elle," I said. "Nice to meet you Mrs.Hemmings."

"Please call me Liz,"

"Okay Liz,"

"We're going to be up in my room studying," Luke said.

"Okay," she said.

I followed Luke as he made his way up the stairs. If I'm going to be honest Luke was cute. He had these piercing blue eyes, blonde hair with that fringe that was just cute, and he was tall. Everything that I found attractive in a man he had.

I mean I don't really know much about him, but so far I really like him. I guess I shouldn't have been so nice about the lunch thing, but that's just how I am. I'm too nice.

"Here we go," Luke said sitting down on his bed. I did the same, and he grabbed my hand like we normally do. But this time my heart raced.

I've never really known what it's like to like someone. I've never had a boyfriend, I've never been on a date, and I've never held hands with anyone but Luke.

"Okay so instead of homework I really want to know more about you," he said.

"Alright... What do you want to know?"

"Well why don't we play 21 questions?"

"Okay,"

"But with a twist," he said. "We both wright down questions we want to know about each other on a piece of paper. We'll pick them out of a hat, and if you fail to answer you have to do a dare the other person creates."

"Sounds good with me," I said.

We both started wrighting our questions, and soon enough we were done. I put mine in one bowl and he put his in another. He handed me his and I handed his mine.

As we were switching my hand brushed against his and Lightning shot up my fingers and into my arm. I liked how it felt. It made me smile, and his face was kept straight. My heart dropped noticing it didn't effect him the way it affected me.

He pulled one out.

"Favorite animal?" He said. "Easy that's a Penguin."

I pulled one out.

"Worst experience ever?" I said. "So does that mean in general or like for a certain thing?"

"No in general like any bad experience with anything,"

"Okay well than it would probably be last year when my brother left me," I said.

"What do you mean your brother left you?"

"Well my parents are divorced and all and my mom remarried. So my step brother and me used to be cool, but now he never talks to me. In school he'll make fun of me and pretend I'm a complete stranger after an incident with his friend."

"Whose your brother?"

"No one you know," I said shaking my head. "Your turn now."

"Worst memory about school?"

"I used to get teased about my glasses all the time," he said.

That just made me confused because he wasn't wearing them. He must be wearing contacts then.

"Oooo put em' on I wanna see you in glasses," I said.

"No I look terrible,"

"Pwease?"

"Ugh fine," he said.

He got up and went over to his desk he grabbed a pair of big thick glasses and put them on. Honestly he looked better with glasses.

"Wow," I breathed. "You look hot with glasses."

"Thanks," he said starting to find interest in his shoes as his cheeks flushed bright red. "But everyone else doesn't think so."

"Well who gives a fück about what everybody thinks?"

"I do,"

"Well you shouldn't cause honestly in my opinion you look way better with glasses than without," I said

"Thanks,"

"No problem now keep them on," I said. "Well if you don't have contacts on."

"No I don't," he said.

"Good now keep them on,"

"Okay okay," he said holding up his hands in defense. He sat back down and we continued on with the game.

"What's the farthest you've ever gone with anyone?" he said as he read off the paper his smile faltering into a frown and he cleared his throat. I could tell it was making him disheveled. "I'd rather not answer that question."

"That's okay I'll just go now then," I said not wanting him to have to do a dare like we agreed on.

"No give me a dare," he persisted.

"I'd rather not give you a dare," I said. "You seem a bit shaken up by that question so I'm not going to push it and I'm not giving you a dare."

"Thanks," he said a smile finding its way onto his face.

I smiled back at him wondering why he was so shaken up by that question.
