Lucas: hey

Me: hey

Lucas: what's up

Me: nm just sitting in my room texting you and listening to music like always...

Lucas: same I've had a shitty day tbh..

Me: why?

Lucas: idk what really started it but life just really sucks rn I guess I've just been thinking too much...

Me: oh well want to hang to get your mind off things?

Lucas: yea sure I'll see you at your house in 15 if that's okay with you

Me: yea sure

After Luke texted me back saying that he left his house, I started to clean up my room a bit. You see Luke lives a bit further away. He lives in a completely different neighbourhood.

Our school takes people in from all over the city, and not just the neighbourhood. That's what makes our school so good.

I spent all my time cleaning my room that I didn't even hear when my phone started to go off, but I heard it at some point because I picked it up and heard Luke in the other end.

"Hey I'm here," he said.

"Okay I'm coming to the door," I said and hung up.

I walked towards the door, and my parents looked at me questioningly. I normally didn't clean my room, and it was a big deal when I did.

I twisted the cold doorknob, and swung the door open, to reveal Luke standing on my porch in the cold weather. He was wearing nothing more than a tank top, black skinny jeans, and a pair of black leather boots. Luke was down right insane for wearing this and looked like it to.

"Oh my god get in hear you dummy," I yelled at him and pulled him in the house. I quickly handed him a blanket and we sat down in the living room.

Our brown clothe couch was old, but it was still useable and we all loved it. We've had memories in this couch and I don't think any of us wanted to get rid of it because no ones even tried to replace it. We just cover it with a blanket and call it a day.

"Thanks," he said.

"You're stupid for not wearing a jacket," I told him.

"All my jackets got lost on our way to Montanna," he said. "We just haven't gotten around to getting me more."

"Here," I said. I got up and motioned for him to follow me. I lead the way upstairs, and to my room. I had this box of sweatshirts from Michael that he didn't fit in anymore. I grabbed one and handed it to Luke.

He quickly took the black sweatshirt and pulled it over his head snuggling into it.

"You can keep it," I said noticing how good he looked in it.

"No it's okay I'll give it back," he argued.

"Luke keep it please?" I asked. "Besides it suits you."

He laughed a bit.

"It suits me?"

"Yes the sweatshirt flatters you," I said smiling feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Does this mean that you like me Elle?"

"No," I lied feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Okay sure," he said laughing. "Your face begs to differ though."

That's when my face grew even more red. By now I wouldn't be surprised if you was as red as a tomato because it sure felt well over 100 degrees.

"Anyway did you hear about the announcement of the valentines dance?" He asked.

"No," I said.

"It's coming up next month,"

"Yea it's usually in or around February,"

"Well obviously," he said. "You going with anybody?"

"No no one at the school usually likes me they usually stay away after the first day of knowing me," I said. "You're the first one to stay as long as you have."

"Well I'm here to stay," he said smiling. I looked into his piercing blue eyes and all I could see was sincerity behind them, but no matter what he says I can't believe him. I can't handle being broken down again.

"Yeah that's what everyone says," I told him.

"Well I mean it," he told me as he grabbed my hand. Butterflies erupted in my stomach and my hand fit in his perfectly. It was like they were two puzzle pieces finally coming together.

I guess it's too bad that he doesn't like me like I like him.

Boom! We're already at chapter ten! Wow!

This week hasn't been my week at all.

On brighter news we hit 230 reads and it always brightens my day to see comments or votes from you guys...

Anyway my question for you is:
Do you think Luke likes Elle back or do we think that he likes someone else?

I literally started this book as a way to let my built up anger out and I honestly really never though people liked my writing but I guess you guys do so...

Anyway thank you all so much for reading cause it means a lot, I love you all no matter who you are!
