"Knock knock," I heard an all too familiar Australian voice say.

"Luke!" I said as he entered my hospital room with bright blue flowers. "Are those for me?"

"Yea," he said his cheeks growing red. He kissed my cheek sending butterflies into my stomach. "Don't worry I only had the day flu and it's been two days. I wanted to come yesterday but my mom wouldn't let me."

"It's okay," I said scooching over. I patted the seat beside me so he would sit down. He climbed in next to me and I could still feel the coldness on his sweatshirt from outside. It felt good to feel something other than this hospitals sheets.

I had done some thinking over the last couple days, and I figured it would be best for me to fight this battle I've been faced with. I don't want to leave Luke, and I'm sure he doesn't want me to leave either.

I laid my head down on his chest and breathed in the sweet smell of cologne. Luke always smelled good even when he would sweat he still smelt good. I could smell a hint of that one smell everyone always associated with hospitals. The smell of Clorox wipes and a sterile environment. I was sick of the smell and it's only been three days in here.

"Did they figure out a course of treatment?" He asked.

"Yea we're going to try a mix of chemo and radiation," I sighed. "You'll have a bald girlfriend."

"I don't care," he said kissing my head. "You'd look even more hot if you were bald."

"Really?"

"Yea,"

"Hey you two love birds," Calum said coming in the room with Lily right behind him. The both of them were the cutest thing ever.

After the Valentines dance Calum asked Lily to be his girlfriend and she said yes. She was skeptical about the distance at first, but decided that didn't matter. She really liked Calum, and besides he was going on tour in four months anyway.

"How long are you staying in town Lily?"

"Uh the next couple weeks why?"

"You and Calum look cute together," I said honestly. "It would be a shame if you guys didn't stay together."

"Yea I'm not really going to think about that right now."

"I'm here bitches," Michael announced to the whole room making me laugh. Typical Mike.

His hair was a different color now. It was bright, baby blue with bright, monster purple hair. It looked good on him and we all know he always wanted to die his hair.

"We're all here as a matter of fact," Ashton said coming in behind Michael.

I can't remember the last time everyone was in one place to hang out, and it hit me right in the spot. Everyone was being so nice to me, and I honestly think it was the cancer.

"It's a family party," I croaked out.

"Awe Elle you'll be fine," Luke whispered into my ear as he gave me a hug.

"I know I'm just scared," I said back.

"I can only imagine," he replied as he grabbed my hand.

"We're all here if you need to talk," Lily butted in.

"Thank you guys I couldn't ask for better friends,"

We wasted the day away watching movies in my dainty hospital room while they continued to prep for my chemotherapy. We watched Peter Pan since it was my favorite movie and I ended up reciting the first ten minutes along with the movie.

To be honest I was a lame person and there wasn't much funny about me. I probably deserved cancer again, but it is what it is, and I've come to terms with it.

I ended up falling asleep in my hospital bed cuddling into Luke's side which now smelt of nothing more than cologne.

Ever since I told Luke about my cancer coming back he hasn't stopped nagging me about being here all the time. It was annoying, yes, but I knew why he was doing it. I'm pretty sure he was afraid of losing me, and so now he just wants to spend more time with me. I don't blame him either because if it was him instead of me with cancer I'm pretty sure I would do exactly what he is.

Because even though he's scared my fear beats his by 100 percent.

//Okay so I literally can't thank you guys enough on supporting my book! You guys I started writing this book as a way to basically escape reality and just let myself let go, and you guys reading this means a lot. I never thought in a million years that I would get 950+ reads. It's so surreal and I legit can't thank you guys enough!
