This is 666 words... May the devil be with you...

Also so so so sorry this is late, but today was a really stressful day at school, and I got some type of bug and now I'm sick, and my stomach is killing me and all I want to do is sleep. Again I'm really sorry.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I pushed back my covers, and I walked over to the dresser and turned the alarm off. I had taken current residency in Luke's old room, and today would be my first day back since everything happened at my house.

I quickly showered, and headed downstairs after I was dressed. I literally can not thank Liz enough for taking me in. Today is Friday, and I'm not ready to go back to school.

"Good morning," Liz said as I looked through the fridge.

"Morning," I said.

"You ready for school?"

"Yea," I sighed.

"You should eat something Hun," Liz said so kindly.

"I'm really not much of a breakfast person," I said trying not to be rude. The last thing I wanted to be was rude.

"Okay," she said. "The bus is here you better get going."

"Yea thanks Liz," I said and hugged Liz. I grabbed Luke's old backpack, and I was on my way. I had to use his since mine was still back home.

As I stepped foot into the bus it felt like everyone was staring at me. My heart quickened and I started to get nervous. It felt as if they could see right through me, and knew my parents kicked me out.

As I made my way to the back I could just see people whispering to one another. I finally found a seat and got my phone out, and put my earbuds in. I hugged my boyfriends back pack. It smells like him, and it sort of soothed me. I just really wish he was here to hold my hand.

//

I finally made it to school just as class was starting, and I sat in the back of class with an empty seat next to me.

"Hello class," my math teacher announced.  She placed her things on her desk and looked out at the class. "So we have a new student today."

There was a boy standing in the front corner of the room. I hadn't notice him until just now. He was tall almost as tall as Luke really. He had shaggy brown hair, and brown eyes. He wasn't lanky, but he wasn't built. He was in between.

"Hi my names Evan," he announced taking interest in his shoes. "And I'm from Chicago."

That's where Lily's from! Maybe he knows her.

"Tell us something that you like," the teacher said.

"I'm into guitars and music I guess," he said.

"Do you play any sports?"

"I used to play soccer at my last school," he said.

So he's like Cal.

"Okay well you can take a seat in the back next to- oh- Elle welcome back," the teacher said.

"Thank you," I said.

"Please take a seat next to Elle," she said.

Evan made his way over to me, and I remember when Luke was this scared on his first day. He sat down next to me and gave me a shy smile.

"Hi I'm Elle Armstrong," I said introducing myself to him.

"Sounds kinda like Bill Joe Armstrong," he said laughing. "And I'm Evan Winters."

"Well what can I say like father like daughter," I said. "And nice to meet you Evan."

His eyes widened.

"So your his daughter?"

"Yea," I said nodding.

"How is it with him being gone on tour right now?"

"I'm not actually living with him," I said frowning.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't-"

"No it's cool don't worry about it," I said shaking it off. "Anyway what class do you have next?"

"Advanced English,"

"No way me too," I said. "Can I see your schedule?"

"Yea sure," he said handing it to me.

Looking at it I saw:

1.Math.

2. Advanced English...

3. PE...

4. Science...

5. Lunch

6. Drama

7.  music...

We had first, second, fifth, and seventh period together... I guess we should just become friends then I guess...

What is with me and making friends with the new kids?
