Two Days Later

So, Ray, Craig and Jacob are out with friends. I haven't barely seen them since that day. Today, me and Santo are moving in with his mom and dad. His sister is old enough to have her own house, so, she does. We have packed up and moved most of our stuff without the guys noticing.

"Alright, that was the last box. You ready?" Santo asked. I held my finger up and got out a piece of paper and a pen. On it, I wrote:

"I really tried. I tried so hard to be a good kid because I know it's hard raising a teenager when you're only a teen yourself. You did a pretty good job. I love you all. I forgive you all for everything, I hope one day you can forgive me. You know my number. I'm not playing the childish game of changing my number. I'm sorry for everything. If you all never forgive me, I hope you all have nice lives. Get married and have a family. I forgive and love you all.

~Jazmine Lopez (Your sister, Jazzy)"

I folded it in half and wrote "Boys" in bold letters and put it on the fridge. I know they will see it there. I grabbed Santo's hand. "Come on. Let's go." I told him. We walked to the car and he held my door open for me then closed it.

After getting unpacked, Santo went to watch football with his dad and I helped his mom in the kitchen. "So, you go back to school Monday right?" Cindy asked. I nod. "Now, I understand that fight. You defended yourself. But I don't want you starting them, okay?" Cindy asks. I smile at her. "Yes, ma'am." I agreed. And we cooked lunch. After that, everyone ate then Cindy and Jonathan left.

"So, what do you wanna do tonight?" I asked Santo. He doesn't have work tonight for the first time in a while. He laid back on our bed and put his hands behind his head, closing his eyes. "Get dressed in something comfortable. I'm taking you somewhere then we are gonna come home and relax." Santo told me. I kissed his cheek before walking to the closet.

I wore sweatpants and a wife beater with nike's and my hair in a messy bun. "Jazzy, are you ready?" Santo yelled from downstairs. I grabbed my jacket and ran down stairs, grabbing his hand. We were wearing the same outfit. We smiled at each other. "Let's go then."

We pulled up to the grave yard. Not Kaden's, but my parent's. "What are we doing here, Santo?" I asked. He led me to my parents tombstones. "You haven't came to visit them since the funeral. Please, visit today, for me." He said, pouting. I sighed and thought about it. "You're lucky you're cute." I said, before sitting in the grass. He sat next to me and smiled.

"I love you." Santo said, pulling me closer and kissing my temple. I laid my head on him. "I love you too." I told him. Then, we just sat there and stared at the tombstone. I thought of everything they did. The good and the bad.

Now that I think about it, they weren't 100% terrible. They were 95% terrible. And 5% good. Which is good, I guess. "Thank you for making me come, Santo." I said as we walked back to the car. "No problem, baby girl." He said.

When we got back home, Momma and Pops were gone. "Baby, Imma take a shower. I'll be out in a minute, okay?" Santo said. I pout. "Then I'll be all alone." I said. He thought for a minute and while he did, I started singing Lonely by Akon. Santo chuckled and opened his arms. "Come here my lonely baby." He said.

I went over to him and he engulfed me in a huge hug. "I really gotta take a shower though." He said. I kissed his cheek and then stretched up so I could reach his ear. "Well, hurry. Ion wanna be here all alone for a long time." I whispered. He picked me up. "Come with me then." He said.

I giggled. "No, you go take a shower and I'll make dinner and we can relax for the rest of the night." I told him. He smiled and kissed my lips. "I'll hurry. Okay?" Santo asked. I smile and nod. "Uh, what do you want?" I asked. "You wanna make a pizza? Just cheese." He told me. I nod and hop off him but, he pulls me back.
