-Five years Later; June 23rd-

I walk into the house I share with Jazmine, immediately she wraps her arms around my neck. I drop my keys on the table beside the door, wrapping my arms around her.

"I missed you." She pecks my lips.

"I missed you, baby. How was work?"

"It was great, there are a few more dresses coming in. And we're working on our very first commercial." She smiles.

"That is awesome, baby. And therapy?" I ask.

"It went well, we talked about the situation with your mom some more." She answers.

These past few years, Jazmine has opened up a lot. She told me all about what happened. She thought if she told me, I would leave her, which is why she never did.

"And?"

"Same as always, I'm a good wife, a good mother, that's all that matters."

"That's right." I smile.

"How was your day, Mister?" She adjusts the collar of my polo.

"It was okay. I have two more days til' my three days off." I move a loose strand of hair from her face, to behind her ear.

I'm a physical therapist, helping people recover from really bad accidents. Along with that, I volunteer at elderly homes and help them out, Jazmine does too. "And then we can finally go to the beach." She smiles. We moved out to Florida for my job. Jazmine's store expanded from North Carolina to Florida. She has two stores now.

"Yes, love." I peck her cheek.

"Daddy!" Kaden yells, running to me.

Jazmine and I pull apart and I kneel down. She jumps in my arms, almost knocking me over in the process. "Whoa, princess."

"Sorry, daddy. I missed you."

"I missed you too." I was only at work, I've been gone since eight this morning to now, it's only six.

"Des, daddy's home!" Jazmine yells.

"Daddy!" She yells, dragging it out until she gets to me, joining the hug.

"Whoa." I put on arm on the ground, keeping me from falling backwards.

"I misseded you."

"Missed." I correct. "And I missed you too, Princess."

"Da-da." CJ walks over to us.

CJ was our little surprise. He wasn't planned, and we didn't know she was pregnant until she was seven months. He is now three years old. "Hey, little man." I say, as he joins the hug.

"Hi." He smiles.

Let me catch you up really quick, I'm now twenty four, Jazmine is twenty-two, Prehia is seven, almost eight, Des is five, CJ is three, all caught up, well on ages.

"Alright, daddy has to stand up now." I say.

I stand up stretching my legs. "And I have gifts." I hold up a bag.

"Yay!" Des shouts.

"To the couch." I say, leading the way like a superhero.

"Couch!" CJ yells, following. He stops running and turns around to Jazmine. He runs to her and grabs her hand, "Mama, come."

"Mommy's coming." She laughs, following him to the living room.

Jazmine sits beside me, Kaden on the other side, Des sits beside Jazmine, CJ sits on Jazmine's lap. "Alright, Kaden." I hand her what I got her, "Des." I hand her the gift, "CJ." I hand him the gift. "And mommy." I give Jazmine a box. "Where is Ariel?"
