I quickly get out of my car, barely leaving myself enough time to put the car in park. The gas station parking lot was filled with police cars, an ambulance and a firetruck. There were like six police cars, three big. black SUV's.

I scan through everything and spot CiCi. She was sitting in the back of one of the ambulances, a paramedic checking her forehead. I run over to here, ignoring everything else.

"Where's Jazmine?" I ask CiCi, who was still crying.

"I'm so sorry, Santo." She sobs. "I tried to stop them."

"Where is she?"

"I don't know." She admits. "I tried to stop them, I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault." I hug her, trying not to break down myself.

After about thirty seconds, I can't keep trying. A few tears slip down, then more, and more and more. "Where is she?"

"They took her." CiCi cries.

"Who?"

"I don't know."

I let go over her and back up. "I have to go."

"Santo, don't do anything stupid, they're working on finding her."

"I'll see you at home." I promise, backing up and going to my car.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Instead of going home, I drove to the beach. I didn't get out, just sat in my car in a secluded place, crying and praying. "Jazmine, please be okay." I whisper, looking up at the ceiling. I can't lose her.

After the beach, I head home. It was around eleven pm. Everyone was waiting in the living room.

My mom stands from the couch, pulling me into a hug. I cry into her shoulder. "She's gone, mama."

"We'll find her."

"What if we don't?" And to that question, she doesn't have an answer.

*Jazmine's POV*

The first thing I notice when I wake up, is that I'm not at home. I sit up, holding my head. I look around the room, trying to figure out where I am. It looks familiar. I'm in a basement, there are no windows anywhere.

I stand to my feet, trying to get a better look. I've been here before. I know I have. I just can't remember why, or with who, or when.

"Finally you're up." A deep voice says. I look around, trying to find whoever was. After a few seconds, he's at the bottom of steps. He's in a mask, but I know the voice.

"Who are you?"

"Don't worry about it." He answers.

"Why are you doing this?"

"The money is pretty good." He shrugs.

"Who-"

"No more questions." He cuts me off. "They'll be here soon."

Who is they? Who is he? Why am I here? "I-"

"What'd I just say?" The guy steps towards me. Out of fear, I step back.

"No more questions." I answer quietly.

"Sit down." He demands. I sit in the chair. "This is how this going to go, you answer whatever questions are asked and say nothing more. Obey what you are told and nothing will go wrong. Now, they'll be here in five minutes, so sit here and don't speak."

I silently pray, trying to contain my tears. They might kill my unborn child and me.

"Get up, sweetheart." I hear her say harshly.

*Santo's POV*

"And do you know of anyone who would want to hurt her?"

"Off the top of my head, her mother, her father, my half-brother and this girl named Katherine."

"Is there any reason?"

"Her parents just don't like her, they never have, they were abusive to her. My half-brother beat her into an a coma when I wasn't there, she testified against him and he was sentenced to fifteen to twenty years in prison. Katherine is my half-brother, De'Quan's, girlfriend, or ex-girlfriend. I don't know."

"And her parents names?"

(A/N I forgot her parents names and I can't find them, so I'm gonna make up a new name. If you can remember, let me know and I will fix it. Thanks.) "It's Taylor and Michael Lopez."

"Okay, we'll look it up. We have search teams across the state looking for her, we'll find her." The detective says.

"I hope." I sigh. I can't live without her, but we have three kids to think about here.

Once the detective leaves, I go upstairs to the room I share with Jazmine. I lay on the bed, holding Jazmine's stuffed bear to my chest. Please be okay.

"Daddy?" I hear Des' voice from door. I look over and see all three of the kids at the door. "When's mommy coming home?"

"Come here." I sit up.

They all sit beside me on the bed and I try and think of the best way to explain what's going on.

"Mommy might not be home for a while." I start, but CJ cuts me off, already about to cry. He is a huge mama's boy.

"Why not?"

"Um, because..." I trail off, trying to think. "Sometimes, there are people who are really mean. And mommy met one of those mean people, and they made her go with them."

"How?" Des asks.

"They made her fall asleep, she didn't want to go with them, they just took her. But these really nice people are going to help us find her so she can come back home." I pick up CJ, who is now crying.

"Why did dey take her?" He cries, laying his head on my shoulder.

"I don't know, buddy. But she'll be home soon, I promise."

"Promise?" He sniffs. I nod, wrapping my free arm around the girls, who had also started crying.

My mom walks in the room and sighs, standing by the door. "We're gonna get dinner, do you guys want to come?"

"Can you take the kids?" I ask.

"Yes, but you need to come too. I don't want you to lock yourself away from everyone." My mom tells me.

"I'm not. I just, I need a minute to myself. Just to get my head together." I reply. "Be good for mamaw and them. I love you guys." I kiss their foreheads.

"I love you too." They sniffle.

"It's gonna be okay guys." I promise them, even if it takes years to find Jazmine and our unborn child, they'll be coming home. I won't ever stop looking for her.

My mom and I get them dressed, and as soon as they leave, I go lay back down. Again, I take Jazmine's bear and hold it to my chest. Please be okay.

So, that was short, but I'm sick. Just wanted to update since it's been so long. Thanks for reading. Vote/comment.

Once we hit 100k reads, what should happen? Double/triple updates(back to back to back) or something else?

What happened to Jazmine? Who took her? What will happen?
