My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 63

I set up the camera in the living room, hiding it as good as I could. I finally came up with an idea to get Santo back. But, I'm using a camera, not living streaming it on Facebook. I'll edit the video later.

"Alright, so Santo is on his way home." I start. "A few months ago, he pulled that little, I kissed another girl prank, so I'm gonna get him back. I had to wait a little so he wouldn't know it was a prank, and we were kind of busy planning the wedding." I get my phone, going to his contact. "I'm about to call him, he's at work right now."

I put the phone on speaker, so it gets recorded. "Hey, baby." He greets, after it rings about four times.

"Hey, when are you gonna be home?" I ask.

"I just got off, I'm about to leave now, so fifteen to twenty minutes." He answers. "Why? Did you need something?"

"No, I was just wondering. I miss you."

"I miss you too. The girls asleep already?"

"No, Kaden is up watching cartoons in her room with Meila." I answer.

"Oh. When'd she get there?"

"Ray dropped her off five hours ago." I tell him.

"Mm. Well, I'll be there on soon. I gotta drive."

"Alright. I love you, be careful."

"I will, I love you too."

We hang up and I put my phone away. "Alright, so, I'm gonna use my other camera so you guys can see me set everything up." I stop that camera, so it doesn't waste space.

I walk to the bathroom while I'm recording, "So what I'm gonna do is, I bought two pregnancy tests earlier today, he doesn't know. Well, I bought three, before I did this prank I wanted to make sure I really wasn't. I didn't think I was, and I'm not, so I can pull this prank." I explain.

"So, what I'm gonna do is draw the lines on, hopefully he won't notice." I set the camera down, so it could see the lines I was drawing on both the other tests. "I'm gonna put it in my purse and make it like I took it earlier."

I put the tests in my purse, then set up the camera I was holding somewhere else, hiding as good as I could. I start the other one again, making sure both were recording. I had put in brand new memory cards just so it won't get full and shut off half way through. That would suck. "He's here, guys." I smile in the camera, then go to sit on the couch, opening my laptop.

Santo comes through the door, with a few bags. He sits them down beside the door and kicks his shoes off. After closing and locking the door, he makes his way over to me. "Hey, baby." He leans down and pecks my lips five times before sitting by me.

"Hey, how was work?" I ask, cuddling into his side.

"Tiring." He answer, resting his hand on my thigh, I had my legs across his lap, my head on his chest, but I was sitting beside him. I was turned sideways.

"I'll give you a massage later." I promise. I had hid a mic close to the couch, so even if we don't talk loud, it'll still hear us.

"Okay." He smiles. "Are the kids sleeping already?"

"Yeah, Kaden fell asleep like ten minutes ago and Meila fell asleep right after her."

"Mm." He hums. "Did they have you up and running all day?"

"Yes, the two of them together, with Ariel, just complete crazy." I laugh.

"I bet." He chuckles.

"I gotta tell you something, Santo." I look up at him.

"What's that?" He looks down, into my eyes. I don't know if he'll believe me, I can't lie for anything, especially when he looks at me like that.
