Hey
Hey you
Yeah, the one crying in a corner
The one with the razor
The one over the toilet with your finger down your throat
Do your have someone to wipe your tears?
Someone to bandage your cuts?
Someone to pull back your hair and wipe your mouth?
To tell you
hey you,
I care
Please
let me help
It may feel like you are a burden to me, in your mind
But I promise
You are not
A burden is a sack of hay on a weak back
Are you a sack of hay?
No.
You are not.
You are a human being
A human being who deserves more
More than the sleepless nights feeling worthless
More than those hateful people said you were
More than you know.
I don't care about the stereotype
Boys
You matter too
It's so not just the girls with bulimia
Depression
Self harm issues
Anorexia
Ptsd
It's all real
Real to you
Real to me
If you have someone
Someone to talk to
Who won't judge
Who knows the media overglamorizes
Well
Everything
This isn't much of a poem
But I hope it helps
My door is always open
Please talk to me.
It gets better.
I promise you.
I am someone who loves and to love.
