It was dark
There was rain
A whistle blew
Away went the train
She stood and watched
Her lover depart
The rain poured down
Mimicking her tears
They were finally confirmed
All her worst fears
The wind started to whip
Her hair round her face
As she leaned on the bicycle rack, for a brace
They'd spent months together
Falling slowly in love
One a pluviophile
One a nyctophiliac
When it pours in the night
There's never a couple more in love
But now they are parted
And she's too broken hearted
To notice the figure
Sprinting in the drizzle
A name is called
Her jaw begins to fall
"I couldn't be without you"
"They didn't notice me leave'
Lovers stood
Side by side
One begins to pale
Starts to crumple
In the arms of the other
Breath comes in gasps
Face drains of life
And her lover is dead
