(Jimin's P.O.V)
HyoJin stood beside me on the doorstep, nervously, as I assured her my parents wouldn't disapprove of her. My dad got home from his business trip yesterday which also left my mother in a more happy mood, so I figured it would be the best time to introduce HyoJin.
"What if they tell me to leave?" she bit her lip, hands in her uniform jacket pockets. When I had brought the idea up at the food court earlier, she literally choked on her fry.
"Hey, trust me - they'll like you. I know the whole Busan thing annoyed them and the fights, but they know how much you mean to me." I replied with a shy smile, looking away as I said the last part. I felt her eyes on me, so I turned the front door handle and stepped inside.
HyoJin trailed behind me cautiously, as I called out to my parents. The smell of chicken and rice filled the house, signalling dinner was near ready if not already layed out on the table.
We hadn't eaten much at the food court, just a snack, and I did that purposely. I already asked my parents if she could come - and, although somewhat reluctant, they approved eventually.
"Eomma, appa.." I called out, and I could practically feel HyoJin panicking beside me.
I quickly grabbed hold of her slightly shaky hand and gave her a reassuring smile.
"Dining room, honey." I heard my mother call back.
I followed her voice to the dining room, HyoJin's hand still in mine, as we entered the room to see my mother and father sitting at the dining room table. They both stood, smiling warmly at HyoJin who was doing the same; just a little more forced.
"Eomma, appa - this is Lee HyoJin." I announced.
"U-uh, h-hello.. nice to meet you." HyoJin stuttered, bowing quickly and respectfully.
"Nice to meet you too Lee HyoJin, and thank you for coming to dinner. I am Park Kangjun." my father replied first, nodding.
"Yes, I hope you enjoy what we have prepared." my mother grinned, "Oh and I am Jimin's mother; Park Eunyoung."
"Ah, yes, thank you for allowing me to join." HyoJin replied, starting to loosen up a little more.
We sat around the table, awkward at first, until conversation picked up almost miraculously - and I was the happiest I had been in a while.

"Thank you for coming tonight HyoJin. I know it must have been a little scary." I smiled. We were doing the dishes.
"It was, but honestly, your parents are so great! I wish you could meet mine. But, it's not as easy as that unfortunately. My mum doesn't even like me dating you." she said quietly, sighing.
"She might come around one day." I reassured her.
She smiled a little, and I felt the sudden impulse to kiss her cheek. She looked so cute. So I did it.
She let out a gasp, looking around quickly to make sure no one was watching. I chuckled, and she frowned at me jokingly before breaking out into a grin herself.
