(This chapter would be in Avery's pov) (also sorry if I'm missing some information about what Avery has. As yall know it's been a long long time since I wrote the other chapters so do remind me if I'm missing something in the comments and I'll change it right away. Thanks!)
I'm also changing road trip to just trip since they would be using a jet to get to their destination.
"Wake up Avery. We're going to the airport soon!" Tyson said happily as I sat up on the bed all groggily. My mind slowly processing the things around me that's still a blur accept Tyson's face. "Hey. Avery you good?" He asked again.
I blinked once. Then twice before answering him with a simple nod even though I'm not alright. My mind is still racing from all the horrible things I dreamt of in my sleep. I silently swore to myself that I wouldn't watch a horror film ever again.
As Tyson pulled me up gently from the bed. I felt my soggy pull-ups sagging slightly between my legs. Tyson helps me out of it and tossing it into the bin beside me.
He then proceeded to get the bath ready for me. As I stepped into the tub. Tyson grabbed my towel and hung it on the wall. "Call me when you're done okay?" He said as he slipped out of the bathroom. Leaving me to my thoughts.
I slowly bathed myself. Carefully washing around the bruises that still lingered on my frail body. Even though I've been gaining some weight. It still wasn't enough to hide the past my body carried. Every bruise felt like a memory carved into my skin. Literally.
I turned on the small bubble jets inside of the tub. forgetting the dark past. Grabbing my ducky and little mermaid toy, I began playing with them. The darkness backing away back into the depths of my mind.
A knock on the door brought me back to reality. it wasn't Tyson. But ace. "Hey buddy... can I come in?" Ace asked.
"Yeah. Sure." I replied back. Looking up for the first time in a few minutes. As the door opened I could see a big smile plastered across his face. Which dropped right after he saw me.
Without saying a single word. He came over and crouched down to my level. "Avery.. I'm sorry you went through all of that. I shouldn't have been so weak that time. I'm so sorry I couldn't steal you back in time." All the emotions came rushing back to me.
Tears formed in my eyes as he held me in his arm. My body still in the tub. I started sniffing as he comforted me again and again. Telling me that it was over and he would never ever let me relive that moment again.
"I'm sorry.. I couldn't help it." I cried to ace. Still tightly wrapped around him. His shirt slowly soaking from my wet hair and body. "You don't have to be sorry Avery. You were incredible strong for going through that. I'll make sure you have a blast in Paris okay?"
Ace said as he gave me a small but reassuring smile. "how about we get you out of the tub and dry you up?"
That small smile made me feel better. Still sniffing a little, I got out of the tub after rinsing off the soap and ace dried me up with the towel before wrapping me in it. He led me out of the bathroom and into my personal walk in closet.
He picked out some simple but nice clothes and decided that I needed to wear a pull-up since we're going on a plane.
Once he's done getting me dressed and ready. He quickly brushed my teeth and carried me down stairs to eat breakfast.
"Hiya Avery! I missed you!" Jake said as he ran towards me. Ace set me down as I also ran towards him. Both of us crashing into each other softly.
"Can you pick me up?" I asked him kindly.
"Sure bub. I can pick you up." He replied while picking me up. He brought me to the kitchen where I found Silas with another chef preparing breakfast. "Yummy toast!" I shouted at Silas. Happy that he was making my favourite meal. French toast.
"Awww hi Avery! I made this just for you by the way. Made with thousands of my love for you!" He spoke in a half french accent. I giggled at that when Ezra and Cason also came over to say hi to me. Giggling even more when they told me funny jokes!
Jake sat down on the chair in the dining room as maids came in holding trays of yummy good smelling toast! "You wanna eat it yourself bub?" Jake asked. I replied with a quick "yes please" as he gave me the fork and spoon.
I ate quickly, enjoying every bite of the warm French toast. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and covered in just the right amount of syrup.
"Slow down, avery, "Jake laughed. "Nobody's gonna steal your breakfast."
I giggled as Silas brags about how he's such a good cook. I can hear the almost audible sigh from the chef.
I quickly scarfed down the last bits before realising that this was the first meal I've completely devoured. Everyone was praising me. Calling me strong and cute. Making me giggle all over again.
"Alright guys. Who's ready for the day ahead of us?" Ace asked everyone. "Me!" As I looked around. I was the only one who said it. I quietly reclined and hid in Jake's neck. Feeling everyone chuckle at me.
After breakfast. We headed out of the door and ace had the maids carry our bags into the van. As usual, I sat in my car seat. The pull-ups between my legs making everything feel safer and comfortable. Jake buckled me up as the van started moving.
Fixated by my environment, I stare out the windows and saw cars and buildings zooming past us. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep from the soft humming of the engine because when I opened my eyes again we were already in our private terminal.
The van came to a gentle stop in front of the private jet as one of the drivers stepped out and began unloading our luggage into the aircraft
Jake unbuckled me from the car seat and carefully carried me up the stairs and into the private jet. The cabin was bigger than I expected, with soft leather seats, warm lighting, and huge windows that stretched along the side of the plane. It felt more like a living room than an airplane.
Jake carefully settled me into one of the large leather seats before kneeling beside me. He made sure my seatbelt was snug, then adjusted it so it wasn't pressing too tightly against my stomach.
"Comfortable?" he asked softly.
I nodded, rubbing my sleepy eyes.
"Good." He smiled, tucking the blanket a little closer around me. "The takeoff can feel a little strange. Remember? But your brothers and me are all here with you."
He reached over and lowered the window shade halfway to keep the bright morning sun out of my eyes before handing me my paci.
"If your ears start to feel funny, swallow or yawn a little," Jake explained. "I'll help you if you need anything."
I quietly sucked on my paci and leaned into my seat. Catching Silas secretly taking a photo of me. Ace also handed me my stuffy. Which I hugged tightly as the plane engine hummed louder and louder.
"It's okay Avery. Nothing to be scared about okay?" Ezra whispers softly to me. Kissing my forehead and buckling himself up on the seat beside me as the plane took off.
(HI GUYS I'm so happy I got to finish this in one day! It was though my brain is fried. Also I don't remember if Avery had a stuffy or not. But from now on let's just say he has one alright? It makes him look so adorable!)
