I missed you

                                        Ace pov

"What."

"Mom is... outside?" I asked for the 5th time. "Yes! Check the cameras or something" shouted Cason. But I didn't need to. Cason sounded very... truthful this time.
"Did you let her in?" "No. Not yet. The guards escorted her to our front door. She came here unannounced." He said." I scolded him as I hurried out of my office.

Foot steps echoed through the hall ways as more of my brothers gathered in the living room. Jake and Cason immediately went to go open the door but I stopped them. "Don't you think it's weird that mom suddenly appeared out of nowhere? Even her personal doctor didn't bother contacting me." I said. Sighing again at how much stuff had already happened today. Why would mom come home without contacting any of us? "Actually... she contacted us a few days ago that she would be coming home. And she wanted to surprise you." Jake said cheekily. As he pulled open the door.

Mom stood there. Looking exactly the same as she was before it happened. "I missed you, my babies." She said. Opening her arms as everyone came crashing into her. That same smile she used to give was replaced with worry. Her brown eyes and hair reminded me so much of Avery it's reassuring for some reason.

As we chatted along the whole night. Catching up on what's been happening in our lives. I told her everything like how we managed to find Avery.

To tell you she was shocked was an understatement. She went full on crazy and wanted to see him right away. Until I told her Avery was sleeping with Ezra. Only then did she calm down. We both agreed on letting them sleep in before surprising them. It was planned that mom would wake them up tomorrow first thing in the morning. "But there's no guarantee that Avery would recognise you. Mom" Silas chimed in half way. "I agree... but I have a feeling that he'll recognise me." She confirmed. Being as confident as she always was.

Avery's pov.

"Mom?!?" Someone yelled as I stirred awake. "Hello hun. Mamas back home now. There's no need to worry anymore." That strange voice said. I opened my eyes to see my brothers standing at the side of the bed. They were all smiling like crazy. Which made me all embarrassed for no reason. I hid my face in the blanket and noticed now that everything suddenly went quiet. Curious, I decided to take a quick peek just in time to see a woman sitting down next to me.

I gave out a quick yelp while retreating to the side of the bed where Silas and ace was standing at. "She isn't here to hurt you Avery." Ace whispered into my ear. I looked around the room and each one of my brothers gave me reassuring smiles.

Looking back at the woman. She was pretty with nice brown eyes. Just like mine. "Avery... do you remember me?" Asked the woman. I shook my head and quickly reached out to grab ace's hand. Immediately, he grabbed it back and held it tightly against his chest.

The woman started to sing a familiar song that I once remembered listening to. I slowly climbed towards her. "Mommy?" I asked. Tears forming in my eyes. "Mommy!" I said. Finally realising who that woman was. She opened her arms wide as I crashed into them. Feeling the gaze of my brothers staring at us. She smelled just like the lollipop the nurse gave me a long time ago.

"So you do remember it?" She said. Half giggling. "The lullabies i sang to you when you were a baby. "Mama. Why did you leave me?" I sobbed. "I'm sorry. Avery... I really am! I failed to protect you. But I'm here now. It doesn't matter anymore baby." Mama said as she picked me up "you're so light Avery, have you been eating much?" She asked me as I shook my head. "Why not I make everyone breakfast?" Mama asked. Smiling softly towards ace.

Everyone shouted in agreement.

"I missed you mama." I mumbled through the fabric of her dress. "I've missed you more. My sweet sweet child."

(HEY GUYS!!! SO HOW DID YOU THINK ABOUT THIS CHAPTER? I FELT LIKE IT WAS TIME TO INTRODUCE THEIR MOM INTO THE HOUSE. SINCE THERE WASN'T ANY FEMALES IN THE FAMILY YET.)

I REALLY HOPE YOU GUYS LIKED IT BECAUSE I WORKED SO HARD ON THIS CHAPTER! I SPENT LIKE 3 HOURS WRITING THIS ON PAPER AND THEN DOING THE FINAL TOUCH ON WATTPAD.
