Silas pov

We arrived back home approximately 2 days ago. Which means. School starts Tomorrow for the boys. Not to mention. Avery's first day of school!! I can't wait to see my baby all big and grown up!

"SILASSSSS!!! WHERES MY SHOE!" Jake screamed from down stairs, like he's getting robbed. I walked down the stairs and towards the noise of bickering boys. "What are you guys doing?" I asked. Clearly annoyed that they keep yelling in the house.

"I can't find my shoe!" Jake half shouted at me. "I think Ezra hid it!" He added. "No I didn't! It was Tyson!" Ezra shouted back. "What do I have to do with this?" Tyson asked as he continued playing on his phone.

"Your shoe is in your cupboard. I told you I would put it there before summer break started! Don't blame it on people Jake." I said. He just gave out a huff and went back up stairs. I gave out a sigh of relief as Ezra and Tyson's school bags are already in place.

"You guys still need anything? I'm bringing Avery out to buy school items later." I asked. "We've already got everything In our bags." Tyson said. "I'm pretty sure we're good."

"Alright. Just give me a call if you need anything." I replied. I went to Avery's bedroom and slowly pushed open the door. He was snoring softly while he slept like a baby. I was tempted to wake him up at first because I didn't want to bother him. His adorable little baby face still clearly visible. "Avery? Do you wanna wake up now?" I asked softly while playing around with his hair.

He stirred in bed for a few minutes before sitting up. He yawned and rubbed his eyes using his fist, which immediately made my heart melt. I tried holding in the urge to snuggle with him as I knew it was already evening. "Good evening Avery. Had a nice nap?" I asked him. Half cooing at him.

Avery nodded his head and fell towards my chest. I picked him up and held him in my arms. "You wanna go shopping for school hun? We can buy you that marvel backpack you've been talking about all day." I said. Giving him a gentle smile. "I wanna go shopping." He said softly while holding me tightly.

I chuckled at his response and carried him downstairs where I told him to get ready. Avery ran around the living room trying to find Jake but failed miserably. I couldn't help but laughed at him a little. "Jake is up stairs Avery. He's preparing for school too. Come on Avery. Let's go shopping!" I said happily as I helped him tie his shoelaces.
