Mall time!

Avery's pov

Silas held my hands as we walked through the doors of the mall. He said we needed to buy new clothings for me first, but it sounded so boring!

I tried to persuade Silas into buying me the superman bag I wanted first but he refused... he said that the clothing store was closer and on the ground floor. Which is the floor that we're on.

"Please Silas?" I asked again with puppy eyes. Hoping he would fall into my trap. "No. Avery. Clothings first okay? All you gotta do is follow me around while I pick up clothes for you." He replied. Completely ignoring my puppy eyes.

I gave out an audible sigh as he pulls me next to him. I tried to get away but his firmly grip on me prevented it. I sigh once again. But failing to do so as my saliva tried to choke me to death. (That was humour)

We reached the clothing store where Silas immediately went in after contemplating whether to buy me the grey sweater that was on the display mannequin.

I just stood there while Silas picked out clothes for me. He picked out some T-shirts, shorts, underwear, some jeans, and long sleeved shirts.

I followed Silas to the cashier as he paid for the items. We immediately went to the stationary store that was on the third floor.

"Silas.. can we go eat after this? I'm hungry." I said. Looking at Silas. "Sure baby. We can go to McDonalds later." He said. Smiling at me. I celebrated silently in my head. Happy that he finally listened to me.

Silas brought me over to the bag section where I finally found my spider-man school bag! I jumped up and down, excited. As classical silas just laughed at me.

"Come on bubby. We still need to buy accessories for you." He said half chuckling. Silas told me to pick out anything I want in the items section. I decided that I didn't want Silas to spend a lot on me. So I picked 20 blue pencils. 2 boxes of superman erasers. 3 blue glue sticks. 2 electric sharpeners. 3 rulers. 1 scissors. (Kid friendly one) 5 blue pens. And one big blue pencil case. I looked at all the items in the trolley and smiled at myself. Proud to have saved Silas some money.

"Wow... that's um. Nice of you.." Silas replied to me. As I told him my plans to save his money. After he paid for the stuff I chose. We headed off to McDonalds where Silas ordered french fries, nuggets, chicken and a burger for me. "But I can't finish it though." I told him. "I'll share with you bud. Don't worry." He reassured me.

When the food arrived. I gave Silas the burger and some fries while I ate the rest. The fries and nuggets were so crispy and delicious I couldn't help mumbling out about how yummy it was to Silas. He just shook his head left to right and smiled. He ordered 2 family combo for the rest of our brothers as we exited the mall.

Rain clouds were already starting to form in the horizon as we drove home. Once we arrived. I immediately went inside holding the 2 bags of McDonalds family combo and placed it on the table.

I also went into each of my brother room to find them. They all always had to ruffle up my hair as they walked past me. Except for ace. He picked me up and carried me down stairs, Which I am thankful for.

Everyone was in the dining room eating while me and Silas were busy packing my bag for school tomorrow. I'm extremely nervous but excited at the same time! Jake and Ezra said they were gonna be there too! I can't wait!
