Dante spent 5 days working with other Catalysts. The training was rough and horrible. He was marked now. He could do nothing but work and train. After the 5 days he went back to school. Layla wait for him at the entrance of the school. He tried to walk by unnoticed but to no avail.

"Where were you?" She asked. "You worried me for a while. I was beginning to think something bad had happened." She hugged Dante with a very passionate grip. "I was.......sick. Thats all." Layla noticed the hesitation in his voice. As much as she cared about Dante, she had to keep asking him. "Where were you Dante? You were gone for 5 days and didnt even bother to check in." "I was sick i told you." Dante said. "Sure you were." Layla looked angrily at Dante.

Dante knew he had to keep his new found life a secret. It didnt matter who it was, or what they wanted. Layla kept looking at Dante with her angered stare. Dante looked side to side, up and down, trying to loose her focus. No luck. He than took Layla's hands and gripped them to his own. Laylas angered look soon turned into a small grin. She knew she couldn't be mad at him forever. Even with something like this. To Dante this was two things: A way to avoid telling her his secret. And a way to move forward with Layla. He released Layla's hands and moved his to her sides. He pulled Layla close to him.

Layla started to blush. Like she knew what was coming next. Dante moved his lips tword Layla's. She hesitated for a second and at the blink of an eye pushed herself forward and layed her lips on Dante's. The passion they gave one another could be seen a mile away in the snowy plain. Like their kiss stoked a fire that warmed them and the area around them. They continued to kiss for a while. They didnt want to stop. But like a big alarm that ruins a good dream the bell to the school rang.

After releasing on the spark of the fire, Layla smiled at Dante, and Dante smiled back. "I love you" Dante said with words of courage. Layla cheeks were bright red at this moment. She answered him in a very excited tone, "I love you too."

They walked into the school holding hands. Everyone of Layla's friends starred at them. They didnt say anything. Just starred like hawks. "What's up with them?" Dante asked. Layla didnt answer him. She didnt want to. Because she knew why they were but didnt want to anger Dante. After a while of talking and holding one another, the bell to class rung and they walked slowly to the room. Though they sat by each other, every little moment counted to Dante and Layla.

Even though their love was strong and bright, Dante couldnt let Layla know of the Catalysts or his involvement. He also didnt wat her to know what he did for those 5 days. For they had left multiple scars and wounds on his body and mind.
