It was the last class of the day. Dante just started putting everything away when the bell rang. He walked out of the room to find Layla standing next to the door. "Oh uhhh hi Layla" Dante said nervously. "What are you doing here?" "I came to see if you had read my note." Layla's neutral face turned into a small smile. "Uhhh yeah i did" Dante said. "Soooo what do you think?" Layla said
Dante couldnt really get the words out at first he stood there looking in her eyes for a while until Layla had this look of disappointment on her face. Sje started to turn away but Dante grabbed her arm and turned her back around. "I......I really........like you too." Layla's face went from disappointed to happy and excited. "Layla i think youre absolutely beutiful, and was wondering if you would go out with me?" Layla grabbed Dante and gave him a hug. Dante was suprised at first but that quickly turned into a hug back to Layla. "So im guessing that is a yes?" Dante said happily. "Im glad you noticed" Layla said back happily.
They talked for a while and than they parted. Dante was grinning ear to ear when he started to leave the school. He couldn't believe he acctually did it. He reached into his pocket right when he reached the door. He brought out the coin. The coin had a note attached to it that wasnt there before.
He read the note. It said Room 555. "So thats what the numbers meant." Dante said to himself. He slowly turned around and went twords where that room was. To his suprise there wasnt a room 555. He looked at the coin disappointed. He than turned around and heard a ringing noise. The noise was small and barely noticiable. But Dante heard it. He quicky turned around. Room 555 had appeared out of no where.
Dante stared at the newly appeared door for a while. He was in aw at this sudden act of what seemed to be magic. He reached for the door handle when it suddenly shook. The door opened. All Dante could see was darkness. Than out of the darkness he heard a faint whisper. It said, "The coin." Dante instantly knew what he needed to do. He through the coin in to the endless darkness of the room. The coin jingled as it fell to the floor. Than it stopped. Like something had put its hand on it. He heard a silent but noticiable luagh.
Out the darkness came the coin and what seemed to be a hoodie. Dante picked up the coin, put it in his pocket, and than picked up the hoodie. It was black with hints of grey from age. There was a paper note on the hood. "Welcome Catalyst." It read.
"What the hell is a Catalyst?" Dante wondered.
