Dante put his hoodie on and grabbed his knife. He knew what to do and where to go. The only problem was getting there. Dante heard a knock on his door and Layla walked in. "Where are you going?" She asked. "To stop someone." Dante answered. He than walked up and kissed Layla on the forehead and said goodbye. "Wait, who are you goimg to stop?" Layla said as Dante got on his bike. Dante sighed and put his hood on his head. "Myself." He said. Dante than started his way towards the school. He looked back and saw Layla walk back into her house. "Good. She wont follow." Dante thought to himself.
Dante was going to the school to open room 555 again. Though he could've done it from his room he needed to make sure Layla wouldnt see him. Since his mother is dead he couldnt get her to tell him how to get there the fastest. When he got to the school he got in through a window amd headed to the hall that 555 was on. When he got there he pulled out the coin and put it on the floor. The doorway opened, and the darkness was seen. "Dante." The darkness said. "What do you want? You left us. Broke your vow." "I dont care what I did, I need to know how to get to the Tomb of the Forgotten again." Dante said. The darkness went silent.
"Why do you want to go there? Its forgotten for a reason." The darkness said. "I just need to now tell me how." Dante said. "I can get you there fast. Though you broke your vow you've done enough to make me like you." The darkness said. "Now shut your eyes." Dante closed his eyes and felt the wind blow on his face. Than he felt nothing and opened his eyes. He was in the main room of the tomb.
He looked left and right and than a light cam down on the middle of the room. There stood Dark Dante with his hood on. "Good. Your here. I was beginning to worry you had forgotten about me." He said. Dante starred at Dark Dante and put his hood on. A darkness fell upon his eyes. Dante drew his knife and Dark Dante drew his dagger. "Lets make this a little more interesting." Dark Dante said. He than flicked his dagger outward and it turned into a sword. Dante's knife glew a bright red and Dante did the same. "Are you ready to face your true fear?" D.D said. "With pleasure." Dante answered.
Dante than ran towards D.D and slashed at him with his sword. Iron shocks echoed in the room as the two's swords clashed. Dante pulled back and slashed again and again. Sparks flew from there blades, for the force that Dante put into his blade was great. Dark Dante than kicked Dante to the ground as their swords clashed once more. Dante's blade flew back and stabbed in the ground behind him.
Dark Dante put his sword on Dante's throat. "You're pretty good. But you lack skill." Dark Dante said. Dante kicked up hitting D.D in the arm. With this opportunity, Dante lunged backwards and grabbed his sword that was in the ground. "Im not dying that easily." He said. Dante walked up to D.D with his sword out in front. D.D did the same back, as if it was a battle of the ages. Than, they clashed again. Dante went faster this time. Making sure every swing was direct and forcefull. Dante than slashed but this time going up with. This cut Dark Dante in the cheek. "Didnt feel it." Dante said.
They clashed over and over again. The sweat dripped from Dante's face and the blood from Dark Dante's. Dante than swung up with his sword and cut off Dark Dante's sword hand. Dark Dante's sword went up as he screamed. The blood flowed from his wound and he fell to the ground. "No. You are supposed to die! Not me!" Dark Dante said. Dante walked up to D.D and put his sword to his throat. "You think you can change anything now! By yourself! All alone!" Dark Dante said. Dante pushed on his sword more to where Dark Dante's voice was choked. "You cant do anything now. It's over." D.D said. "No." Dante said. "Its not over. Its never over." Dante drew his sword up and slashed it back down. A load roar came from Dante as his sword sliced through Dark Dante's throat.
Dark Dante's body fell to the ground along with his head. Blood spilled on the floor, filling in the cracks. The body than started to fade away into ash. Dante sheithed his sword and took a knee. Sweat and some blood dripped from his face. He felt a great burden lifted from his body as the ashes of his enemy fell onto his head. Dante closed his eyes and than felt the wind blow on his face. He opened them and saw he was in his room. His sword had shrunken back to a knife during the travel. Dante than heard a knock on his door. Layla came in and hugged Dante.
Though she didn't know what had happened, she could see it in Dante's face he needed a hug. Dante layed his head on Layla's shoulder and sighed. "Im done." He said. Dante knew this wasnt completly true, but he felt like he was. After all, he had just killed himself. And now was in heaven.
