As the days went by the pain only got worse. Almost everyday Dante was gripping his head and screaming on the ground. The images turned into more and more curiosity to Dante. But the pain was beginning to get unbearable. Dante still thought the images of baby him and his supposed mom. He couldn't take his mind of it at times.
With Layla still gone and Dante to face his pain, Dante still had to think of his mom. He had never met her, barely seen her, and now he cant take his mind off her. Dante got off the floor after another time with pain. "Fucking shit...." He said. Dante than saw a flash of an image. It was of the woman, his mom, with him in her arms putting him on some steps. They were the steps to the house he lives in now. Dante shook his head and sat at his desk. He thought about Layla. "Why do i have to miss those pretty eyes?" He thought. "Why do i have to miss her beuty, her smile, her laugh, why do I have to miss her?"
It seemed out of no where but Dante started to feel the pain.in the back of his head again. It was different though he felt hatred more than pain. He fell to the ground with his hands balled up into fists and than blacked out. As Dante opened his eyes he wasn't in his room anymore. He was in a cold, foggy room with only the faint light if a candle to be seen. Dante got up and looked around to find nothing but that candle. A he got closer to the candle he felt a dagger go through his back.
"Not so fun is it?" Dark Dante said. Dante fell to the ground and started to get mad. He felt the pain in his back but it turned to anger. Dante's eyes turned red and his hair grew distorted. "Yes. Good. Take that anger and put it into action!" Dante grabbed Datk Dante's throat. "Im not you.......and you cant make me be you." Dante said in a demonic voice. "Look at you, you're turning against yourself." Dante's eyes suddenly blazed with fire. He took out his knife and shoved it into Dark Dante's chest. Over and over he stabbed him. "FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU!!!" Dante said as he stabbed Dark Dante.
Dante stabbed him one more time and got up. His hair was up and haggled and his eyes werr flaming, literally. Dante starred at the dead body and the blood all over his clothes. Out of nowhere a bright light suddenly shone and the whole place went black. Dante went back to normal as a woman came out of the light. She was wearing a hoodie like Dante's but older. Her eyes were blue. Just like Dante's. "Mom?" Dante asked. "Yes, my son. You fianlly figured it out." His mom said.
Dante starred at her his eyes wide and his mouth open. The woman came up to Dante and kissed him on the forehead. Suddenly the darkness went away and they were in a feild of snow outside Dante's house. This was real. Dante starred at his mother silently. Tears started to fall down his cheeks. He hugged his mom and wouldn't let go. "I missed you Dante." His mother said. Dante still didnt speak.
Dante's eyes poured with tears of joy. The sight of his mother filled his heart and her touch warmed his soul. Her heart beat was soothing to his ears. Dante's mother started crying too. They wouldnt let go. 15 years without a mother really got to Dante. But he didn't care. He didnt speak, nor move as his mother's loving hug filled him with joy and happiness. His mind had only two things on it. His mom and Layla. But right at that moment Dante got a piece of heaven back.
