Act 9: Chiba Mamoru

The next act might not be out for a week. I am hosting a family party and all my attention is preparing for the event.

Seiya enjoyed the kiss for a moment but a part of him felt it was a mistake. He began to pull away much to his dismay but he didn't want to hurt Usagi. Usagi's reaction was to pull him closer and kiss him deeper. Seiya's heart is hammering in his ears at this point. For that moment he is able to tune almost everything that was wrong with the world but the moment was not to last.

A few people scream in the distance. They immediately broke apart without any hesitation. Usagi blushes.

"Of course they would attack now," Seiya said as he got up with his Change Star. He knows he will to have to talk to Usagi later but right now someone was in trouble.

Usagi nods her headed as she lifts up her brooch. "Moon Eternal Make Up!"

"Fighter Star Power, Make Up!"

The duo quickly ran in the direction of the disturbance.

Another scream sounded, it was male. Everything moved in slow motion for Sailor Moon as it felt like the wind was knocked out of her. It was if snapped out a daze. She recognizes the voice. It was his voice. Her eyes widen when she realizes what is happening. "Mamo-chan!" Sailor Moon exclaims as she pauses for a moment before dashing forward to help him.

"Odango..." Sailor Star Fighter said softly as she tries to catch up with Sailor Moon. That one name made Sailor Star Fighter feel like she was punched in the gut. She had forgotten about him for a moment. If the animates are going after his starseed then... he will get his memories back. Then Usagi would go back to him... but they had just kissed. Her mind is racing. She shakes her head trying to clear it and focus on defeating the animates and returning the starseed regardless of whom it belong to. It is her duty as a senshi. A knot is developing in her stomach. Within the last two minutes everything had become so much more complicated. She ignores the uneasiness in her stomach and forces herself to keep moving forward.

When Sailor Star Fighter and Sailor Moon arrive they witness Mamoru's starseed in the hands of Sailor Chi. She did not look happy. "Nothing! Not even a spark of Chaos!"

"Return his starseed!" Sailor Moon shouts at Sailor Chi.

Sailor Chi turns her attention to Sailor Moon with a raised eye brow. "Of course... this is the Earth Prince's starseed... no wonder you're so upset. What would you do if I crushed it?"

Tears form in the back of Sailor Moon's eyes at the thought of losing Mamoru forever.

"Sailor Moon," Sailor Star Fighter said as she tries to redirect her attention, "it's okay. We're not going to let her hurt that starseed." She is trying to be reassuring in her words. If Sailor Moon lost focus, her starseed could be taken as well.

Sailor Moon took a deep breath taking in Sailor Star Fighter's words. She couldn't help Mamoru if she is panicking.

Sailor Chi laughs at the display before her. She knew the history of their previous battle with Chaos. Fighter will do everything to protect to Sailor Moon. "Out of all the senshi, you are the one trying to comfort her about her lover. The irony!" Sailor Chi cackles. Sailor Phi and Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon appeared next to Sailor Chi. "I really should just destroy this starseed. I would love to see your face when that happens Sailor Moon. Have fun girls."
