Eleven

Grayson showed up in the doorway, looking like a mess. He stared at me; out of breath and shocked. I was going to spit out a few words to say to him, but instead I just leaped into his warm chest. His muscular arms wrapped around me once he realized what I was doing. He let out a long breath in relief, and all I could do was hug him tight.

After Grayson and I watched the parent trap, I decided to get home. I hugged him goodbye, and he kissed me on the cheek.

"Are you sure you don't want me to walk you home?"
"It's okay gray, it's not that far" I reassured him. He smiled and squeezed my hand one last time before I went out the door. He watched over me as I walked down his driveway and started to glide down the street on my penny board.

Almost the whole ride home I could barely stop smiling. It was a perfect night, and I was now dating Grayson. After the 15 minute ride back to my house, I opened the front door and was startled by Emily standing on the landing behind the door
"Emily you scared the shit out of me" I said holding my hand over my heart
"Were you at that boys house?" She asked
"Grayson and Ethan?" I asked, shocked that she would even ask that question
"Yeah"
"Why would you ask that?"
"I read your messages with Juliana" she crossed her arms
"Emily really? That's my privacy" I told her
"Well are you going to date Grayson!?"
"Yeah, we are dating" I had to force myself not to smile. Somehow I succeeded
"Does he know?" That wiped the half smile right off my face
"...No.."
"Bri you need to tell him"
"I know, and I will" I said, walking away to go make us some dinner

After dinner I went up to my room and saw my phone go off. I checked my screen and there was a message from Grayson.
'So now that we are together...is that dinner at your house our first date? ;)' I totally forgot about that dinner...and for some reason I got super nervous when I read those words
'Wasn't tonight our first date? XD' I asked him
'Well, how about we make an official first date out of the house. I'll take you out'
'Gray you don't have to..'
'But I WANT to Bri. And I'm GOING to.'
'You're a stubborn one.' I sassed
':)'

I chuckled to myself and leaped right onto my bed

Somehow I was so tired that I passed out that night and woke up around 4 in the morning. I decided to start getting ready, since I had to get up in two hours for school anyways.

Since I had the time, I got myself really dressed up. I took a shower, and put on a huge tee shirt and some yoga shorts to wear while I was getting ready. First I did my hair. I blow-dried it, then used my curling iron to curl closer to the ends of my hair and just left really big loose curls.

After my hair I moved on to my make up. I put on my foundation and concealer, then covered it up with a powder. Then I put on some pencil eyeliner, did three different shades of eyeliner and blended them, winged some liquid eyeliner then put on mascara.

For my outfit I wore some high waisted floral shorts, a white picket tee shirt that I tied to the side to be cut off where the shorts came up to, and my burgundy cardigan. It was dressier than I normally go for school, but not super obvious I was trying hard.

After I was done doing myself up, I still had a half hour to kill before it was time to leave for school.
"Hey Emily, do you think I should go to school right now?" I asked my sister, standing in the frame of he doorway
"Why would you go now?" She groaned, you could tell she pretty much just woke up
"Well I'm all ready and I don't feel like waiting here"
"Then just go? Why are you asking me??" I decided to leave her alone before I told her off and we got into a fight.I went downstairs, grabbed an apple and kissed my grandma goodbye. Then, I was off to school on my penny board.

When I got to school, the office lady let me in. I went to my locker and got my stuff that I need for my first period, and grabbed my book. I walked down to my schools lobby and sat on the bench. I chomped on my apple while reading, and just waited quietly for my day to start.

I heard a lot of people walking in, and of course I heard the loudest, the Dolan twins. They were hootin and hollerin about something, and they were already making me smile. I saw Ethan pushing Grayson around so I stood up. Ethan looked over and screamed
"LOOK THERE SHE IS!!!" And just about the whole sworm of people stared at me...including grayson. The way he was looking at me was so amazing. Grayson gawked at me. Looked at me like I was some celebrity, with his jaw dropped. I blushed, giggling and walked up to them.

"You look really pretty today" he said, not taking his eyes off me
"Wtf dude" Ethan said teasing him about being cheesy.
"You can leave now" gray said sternly, moving his annoyed eyes over to Ethan. Eth did one more snotty laugh and walked off.
"Do you guys normally do that?" I asked
"Nah, he's just being a dick right now" he smiled.
"You ready?" I asked with a sigh
"I was ready since '99" he smirked, I smiled.

I then turned around while he put his arm around me, and we walked down the halls as an official couple. We got plenty of stares, plus Julianas reaction when we got to our locker

"Soooo you decided to be a couple now???" She smirked at me. I smiled big and nodded, and Grayson shook me
"Yes, and I'm so happy" he said.
