Nobody Knew

Chapter 6

They better have a good reason because I was listening to Welcome To the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.

I look up and no shock it's just my friends.

"Damn you Cat." I say as I snatch my ear bud back and and unplug my earbuds, putting them in my pocket.

"Well hello to you too." Will says, sitting down on my right side.

"Hi Will. Hey Mary. Hello Cat." I say as Cat moves to sit on my left and Mary on her left.

"When should we tell Nick about Nicole?" Mary asks.

I look down at my hands on my lap.

"No need." I tell them.

I don't look up to see there questioning faces.

"Holly, why is there no need?" Cat asks.

I finally look up. Not at then but at the field where the football team is warming up. Where Ben and Nick were warming up.

"Benjamin told him. Benjamin found out about Nicole in 7th period today and told Nick at practice. Me and Nick," I go to continue only to be interpreted by Will.

"Nick and I." He says.

"Ya, Nick and I," I continue, "had a talk I told him I was going to tell him later and then he said we would have more time to plot revenge." I finish.

I finally look at my friends, Cat and Mary first then Will. They all had this shock on there face and I didn't know why.

"Ben? Like jock Ben?" Cat asks.

I just nod my head.

People had started to show up to the game and it was getting both louder and closer to the start of the game.

"Revenge plot begins." Will said.

We all laugh about the Paper Towns refrence that he just made. We talk about random things after that, most of them having to do with the party tonight.

When the game started we all cheered for NIck. I silently cheered for Ben. He's not that bad. He helped me, I know I told him not to, but, he did anyways. Not many people would do that. Especially not for me.

When the crowd made a final victory yell, I snap out of my thoughts to find that Nick and Ben just made the winning pass and our school won. Wow. How cliche.

Anyways, after that almost everyone leaves and heads off to a party or to sleep. And for the first time, I'm not doing the later.

When we get to Hunter's house, Nick stops the car.

"Stay together and more important stay close to me. These people will eat you alive. Also stay away from Nicole. I've got revenge under control. Ready?" Nick says.

I look back at my friends since I'm riding shotgun. They all nod so I turn and nod at my brother.

"Let's do this." I say and open my door, exiting the car.

We approach the house as multiple thoughts went threw my head; first of all that this is my first party, second that it's really loud, and third that Nicole is going to try and kill me.

Too late to turn back now Holly. Suck it up. I tell myself as we enter the crowded house.

"Remember to stay with me." Nick says as we walk towards his group of friends.

While we walk I reach back to grab Will and Mary's hands, both of them reaching for Cats hands, so we walk with hands held.

Let me tell you about Nick's friends. They all play football too but they are not the stereotypical people you think they are. They are all very kind. Also not only do they stand up for me but also my friends whenever they see that we need it.

When we get over to them, they all part so all 5 of us can join the circle.

Apparently they helped Nick make a revenge plot in the locker room and all we need to do is "attract" Nicole's attention.

"It's revenge time for that bitch." One of the guys, Patrick, says.

"We should start now." Another, Brian, says.

"What do we do?" Cat asks, she has a dangerous spark in her eyes. One I haven't ever seen before.

"Go get her attention." Nick says.

He looks me in the eye and his look is the last thing I need to convince myself. His look showed that he won't let me get hurt, that he is ready to get revenge on this girl who has hurt me for so long.

And so I do as I was told. We go find Nicole. No shock I find her in the middle of all the people, even tho its not her party.

I turn to look at my friends and we make a little huttle.

"Who leads?" I ask them.

"You. Confront her once and for all." Will says.

"I second that." Mary says.

"Me too." Cat says.

I nod and we break our huddle. They get behind me like we have seen Nicole's minions do.

"Hey Nicole." I say once we walk up behind her.

She turned around and Nicole's face showed both amusement and shock.

"So the little bitch and her group of assholes showed up to the party. There will be problems now bitch." Nicole says while twirling a piece of her hair between her fingers.

I just smirked and said: "I told you this yesterday I don't give a flying fuck. Also never insult my friends again you slut."

After I said that the whole party goes silent and everyone is looking at us. I mean everyone, someone turned the music down too.

Nicole took two steps towards me. We're now so close that if I wanted to I could punch her, so she could punch me.

"What the fuck did you call me you bitch?!" She yelled.

I smirked and said simply; "A slut you dipshit."

Her face showed her emotions clearly. You could see the anger all over it.

She opens her mouth to respond when suddenly the football players are right behind her and pour something onto her head, beer. Then Nick was right behind her.

"Never touch my sister or her friends again or something worse will happen." He says.

Nicole is enraged. She is so pissed off and I just smirk at her.

She turns to look at me and when she does she lounged at me and jumps onto me,pushing me to the ground with her on top of me in a straddle.

She starts to slap me and punch me and pull my hair. Nick try to get her off, and does, right after she says this:

"I will get you back for this you bitch. You are a fat, ugly wore who deserves to die. Do the world a favor and kill yourself."

Suddenly someone is picking me up off the ground. I'm wrapped in someone's arms. I quickly push away to see Benjamin.

"Of course you're here. I don't need your help. I think you've done enough." I tell him.

His smile falters a bit but then he says:

"You may not admit to it but you did. And you also don't want to admit that she hurt you, physically and mentally and that you just need a hug."

Once he says that I realize that it was all true. I realize that I want to cry. But I can't in front of all these people. The tears are coming and I can feel them. I push past Ben and run towards the front door. I open it and run outside, no one is out here still they all went inside to see the Nicole thing.
