Jason's vision clouded as he ripped the spike from his left thigh. Gwen the other guard screamed as someone barreled towards them. The figure was running at full speed yelling "Get down! Get down!" Just then Jason saw what was chasing the girl. It was a large man with the body of a lion and the tail of a scorpion. The part of him that was still mainly human had a black goatee and two different colored eyes. This all processed a little too slow for Jason because the figure running towards him hit him at full speed and nailed them both to the ground. The girl who had nailed Jason tumbled to the right and jumped up as she drew her... Was that a sabbor? She looked expectantly at Jason then at Gwen "Well are we going to run or not?" Gwen rolled over and jumped up. Jason tried to do the same but a spike about the same size as his dagger impaled his left shoulder. After that and the one in his thigh Jason almost collapsed but the girl grabbed him and dragged him into the tunnel.
