Jason found himself pointing out the different features of temple hill from "The automated sabbor dispensary" to "That old faun Bill who just kinda lives off the Ceres offerings" Jason was sure this was his best tour yet! He paused for dramatic effect here, waited for a laugh there, this was going great! He turned around when he figured no ADHD demigod could listen that well for this long, and that's when he realized he had lost Reyna. He turned to find her outside the temple of Bellona. She seemed mystified by place. "That's the temple of Bellona, the roman goddess of war." He said approaching Reyna. She was still as a statue Jason wondered if she even heard him. She cautiously moved into the building and Jason followed. Truthfully Jason had never been in the temple of Bellona, there wasn't much to see. The temple expanded to one giant room surrounded by open doorways and coulombs. The inside was a decorative dark marble that was illuminated by the setting of the sun behind the Berkley hills. In the center of the room there wasn't a fire like in Jupiter's but a square of green grass surrounded by an imperial gold chain. The plaque underneath read "Enemy soil" Jason had never been with the legion during a war but he has read that when the Legion was at war before they went into battle they would throw a spear down into the patch of ground as a symbol and offering to the goddess. Reyna was silent as they stood there. "This is her." She finally said. "This is my mother." Jason was confused "Reyna, it doesn't really work like that. You don't get to choose your parent they have to send a sign, claim you in one way or another." She turned to him and looked aggravated. This was the first time Jason had seen her angry (it certainly wouldn't be the last) she was visibly annoyed that Jason dare bring up the fact that there was a slight possibility that Bellona was not her mother. "It's not a hunch, it's not a guess, and it's not even a feeling. I know, I knew her." Jason got the feeling if he protested any more she would end up with her fist in his face, and he really couldn't afford another broken nose. "We should be getting back" he said "they're going to have to assign you a cohort and then there's dinner and then war games and if I'm late one more time I'm pretty sure I'm going to get stuck with something a lot worse than guard duty."
