She hadn't gotten this much sleep since before they left the spa. Reyna woke staring at a brown ceiling and with a shooting pain in her leg. She assumed she had reached the camp considering that of all the stories she had heard about the underworld didn't have Journey's "don't stop believing" playing in the background. She didn't know where the two legionnaires that had seen her into camp had gone but when she turned her head as she sat up it seemed she had another guest. The boy looked tall although sitting in the chair next to her bed didn't give her much of an idea. He had dark hair that fell in curls down to his jaw. His eyes were a stunning blue, not matching anything else about him. He wore armor polished to a gleam, medals decorated his chest. Right away Reyna could tell he was a leader if not just from the purple cape he wore then from his regal expression, always confident never a glimpse of fear. Someday Reyna hoped she could ever look so strong while not even trying. He had a book in his hands as he scribbled something about aqueducts and repairs needed, his attention was so engulfed in his work it took him a full minute to realize that Reyna had been watching. He looked up embarrassed that she had been reading over his shoulder, closed the journal and gave her a bright smile as he said "Welcome to New Rome, I am Telemachus, Preator of the twelfth legion flumatra. I hope you got enough sleep?" Reyna wondered if that was a joke. She didn't seem to react the way he had expected because he cleared his throat and with a nervous glance down at his brown leather sandals and continued talking. "Well it, uh, seems you passed training with Lupta or you would have no way made it to camp dressed the way you were." Reyna looked down, she was no longer wearing the sundress but now a purple shirt and jeans, the idea of someone else changing her creeped her out a little but she knew that was going to be the least of her worries today. Telemachus began again "Well, um, I hope your ready to begin camp life because it seems that there is a god at our back door. And he is asking for a new recruit named Reyna?" His voice was soft but urgent. He didn't let any emotion through and if it weren't for his hand pulling Reyna out of the bed she thought she just might sit there for the rest of the day.
