Somethings wrong

Shane's POV

I could tell something was wrong.

Our mind link wasn't working and I have no idea what is up with it.

My wolf was itching to go out and find my mate, and I was coming very close to agreeing with him.

'She's in danger you prick! Get out there!' He told me for the hundredth time.

As I walked through her house out to the garden joining with the forest, I knew what I was going to do.

I had no idea where the Northern Pack house was, but I would find it. I had to know my Lilly was safe.

Just as I started to remove my shirt, I felt and heard someone beside me.

I started growling in warning and turned around to see who it was.

I saw Logan and Camron come towards me first before two female wolves pushing their way to the front of the group. Two male wolves, who I'm assuming is their mates, growled and pushed them back.

When they got closer, I saw the two females were Becca and Lindsey. The other two must have been Chris and Nathan, even though I'd never met them.

All of them were walking towards me with urgency, yet caution.

"Nathan, don't you dare go fucking protective wolf on me now! I don't fucking care how much you love me, I am still unbelievably pissed off at you so do not pull that shit with me now! It's your fault we're in this mess!" Becca shouted at him whilst stepping away from him.

"Ditto to you Chris." Lindsey said, mirroring Becca's actions and coming up to the front with Logan and Camron.

"Why are you here?" I asked them. My question was aimed at Logan, but Lindsey answered me instead.

"Shane I need you to stay calm. Something has happened." She said.

"I know something has happened and you are all here stopping me from finding out!" I said angrily.

"We know what's happened that's why we're here." Becca said, taking a step closer and putting a hand on my arm.

Her touch felt wrong. It wasn't Lilly and that angered my wolf. I carefully moved my arm out from under her hand.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have done that." She said, smiling sheepishly.

I waved off her apology. "So are you going to tell me?" I asked again.

Logan nodded and produced a pair of copper handcuffs. "We will, but only if you agree to put these on. I know you're going to freak, so for the safety of the females, please put these on. Lilly would never forgive you if you hurt one of her friends unintentionally or not."

I nodded curtly and he put them on me.

"Now tell me." I commanded using my Alpha voice.

They all bowed their heads in submission and avoided my eyes.

"Lilly has been taken to America to be used as a mate to the Moonsand Alpha." Chris mumbled.

I froze momentarily, then I exploded.

"HOW ARE YOU ALL STANDING THERE?! YOUR LUNA IS IN DANGER! GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF THESE CHAINS NOW!!!" I shouted, barely able to contain my wolf.

I was shaking with the need to shift, to save Lilly and protect her. I needed out of these cuffs.

Just then, I heard a snap and all eyes were on me. I moved my hands out in front of me.

"That's impossible." Nathan said. "No wolf has ever been able to get out of copper cuffs before. It weakens us."

Everyone stated at me in awe. I started to shake more violently, my wolf was coming out.

"Shane, stop." Logan said.

I froze and turned around to face him. "What?!"

"Shifting now could put her in more danger. She's already half way to America as we speak. We need a plan."

I took in a sharp breath and pinned him with my hard gaze. "You waited, until she was on the fucking plane before you told me?"

Lindsey held up her hand. "She said not to tell you until she had gone so you wouldn't freak. She doesn't want you getting hurt trying to save her. She said be reasonable about it and plan it. She trusts you."

I sighed, my heart aching to be near Lilly.

"Fine. Here's what we're gonna do."

I said, sitting down on the grass.
