""It was part of my fathers deal." I told him quietly.
Shane had refused to drive any further down our driveway. He wouldn't let me go into the house until he heard it all.
"What deal?" He asked me, his grip on the steering wheel getting tighter.
I took a deep breath, "When I left the pack house-" I started.
"You left the pack house?!!" Shane exclaimed.
I looked at him sternly. "Let me finish." He nodded stiffly and zipped his lips.
"I asked for permission to leave the pack house because every night I stayed there i had nightmares. I couldn't stay in that house with my father, the place where he killed my brother. I just couldn't stick it anymore. So i was allowed to leave as long as my father bought the house and set up the defences to pack standards. He also had Logan, his Beta and Camron his third, move in with me."
I glanced at him. He was staring ahead with a cold expression. "Are they mated?" Shane asked, turning to face me.
I shook my head. "What?!" He exploded. "How could your father allow that?? Two unmated males living with an unmated female? That's unacceptable!"
I sighed exasperatedly. "Chill out, wolfie. They won't harm me. They're like brothers to me."
Shane shook his head. "No. You're not staying in a house alone with them anymore. You're living with me." He started reversing out of the drive.
"Shane, take me home." I demanded.
"No Lilly. I can't deal with you in a house with unmated males. That's not happening."
"Dammit Shane! Take me home!" I shouted, my hand already on the door handle.
He shook his head sternly.
"Fine then, I'm going home." I said before opening the door and jumping out, landing lightly on my feet. Being a werewolf sure has its perks!
"Shit!" I heard Shane shout before slamming on the breaks and running after me. I was already halfway down the drive.
"Lilly!" He shouted, grabbing my arm and pulling me to a stop.
"What the hell was that all about?" Shane asked me.
"I told you I wanted to go home." I replied nonchalantly.
He sighed exasperatedly. "So you jumped out of a moving car?"
I shrugged. "You weren't going to let me. I'm not moving out of here. This is the first place where i have really felt at home. I don't want to leave."
Shane pulled me into his arms. "Ok then, I won't make you leave your home, but i'm moving in." He stated firmly.
"But-" I started but he cut me off.
"No buts. I'm moving in to protect you. End of discussion." Damn possessive wolf, I thought to myself, but agreed, knowing he wouldn't let it go.
Shane held my hand as we went back to the car and continued down the drive.
Now i have to tell Logan my mate, and now boyfriend, is moving in.
This should be fun...
A/N: Sorry it took so long, Internet is messed up.
