Fifteen minutes after Jeremy left, Megan thought I had better start getting ready.
I flat out refused at the beginning, but she said that if I didn't, he would send someone up to get me and it wouldn't go down so well. And anyway, Shane was coming for me.
And so, we began getting me ready to go to my 'bonding ceremony', just to keep up appearances. Megan began my makeup while the curlers were heating up.
'Please Shane, I don't know how much time I will have.' I begged him.
Even though Megan was taking her time, Jeremy soon sent another female of the pack up to see what was taking so long.
"Lilly, this is my cousin Jenna. Both our parents died in a battle, she's the only family I have now." Megan told me sadly, while the other girl stood in the doorway.
"Can she be trusted?" I asked.
Both girls nodded. "Close the door then, we have less than five minutes to tell you something important."

Jenna gasped when we told her what happened. "No!" Her brown eyes had gone wise and her hand rose to her mouth.
"Uh huh. Now, how long do we have?" Megan asked.
Jenna looked at the dainty watch on her wrist. "Well he told me to get you down there in a minute..five minutes ago."
Shit. Shit, shit shit shit shit!
"Do either of you have a shawl or jacket I could borrow? the back on this dress is too low..." I asked them.
"I've got one!" Megan said, before bouncing out of the room.
Less than thirty seconds later, she bounded in again and flung a cream coloured jacket at me.
"Well, looks like its time to get this show on the road," I told them.
"And hope that your mate gets here in time." Jenna added.
Each girl linked their arms through mine and we walked out of the room.
'Times up shane,'

*Shane's POV*
I heard my Luna's warning, she was running out of time and we still had a bit further to run.
I pushed myself harder, running faster, always getting closer to my goal.
Knowing my Luna was most likely fretting, seeing as how I hadn't replied, i couldn't help but feel bad. But I couldn't focus myself on replying to her. My wolf and I were only focused on getting her out and getting her safe.
I heard my pack speed up along with me.
'Some of you go round and use a back door. Another group find a side door. The rest of you stand guard outside and wait for the command. Becca, Nathan, Lindsey, Chris, Logan, Camron, you will all come with me.'
By the time I had finished issuing orders, we had reached the pack mansion.
And then I heard Lilly say 'Times up Shane.'
