Time to go

Soon, our precious, limited time was up.

Jenna knocked on the door timidly and gave us an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, but Jeremy said if he doesn't see Lilly in five minutes...I'll not go into detail of what he said he'll do to shane, but it's not pretty. I'd rather you obey him than see my new Alpha hurt."

Shane nodded his thanks. "We appreciate your concern Jenna. We'll meet you in the meeting room in a minute."

Jenna smiled again and left before leaving and closing the door behind her.

"So this is it then," I said sadly.

"For now, yes." Shane agreed. We stood up and he took both my hands in his. "Listen Lilly, Jeremy has to meet with you and explain to you what will happen tomorrow," He said with a growl. "Please don't anger him or let you touch him. My wolf couldn't handle it."

"I know, I promise."

As soon as the words were out of my mouth, his lips were on mine. It was an urgent kiss filled with passion and love. Like the last kiss a man gives his wife before he goes to battle, which it was.

When we broke apart, we were both breathing heavily and stared into each others eyes.

"I love you," We both said at the same time and laughed a little, before we remembered the situation we were in.

"Let's go." Shane said taking my hand as we left the room.
