The Big Day

I was woken up that morning by my friends bouncing on my bed and jumping on top of me. It was like little kids on Christmas morning.

"Happy birthday!" They all shouted.

Logan and the guys were standing in the doorway laughing their asses off.

Shane groaned and pulled a pillow over his head. "Lilly, make them stop."

I laughed and tickled his side, knowing that would waken him up.

Immediately he jumped and squirmed around. "Cut it out!!"

Sophia joined in and we attacked him from both sides. In the end, he surrendered. "Fine! I'm up!"

Even though he was only in his boxers, he got out of bed and trudged into the bathroom and everyone dropped their eyes.

"Jesus, Shane, a bit of warning would be good." Nathan said, covering Becca's eyes.

He shrugged. "Not my fault you all barged into our room and woke me up."

Shane leant down to kiss my head on his way to the bathroom. "Good morning," he said with a wink.

"Same to you," I replied. I didn't want to get out of bed with everyone standing around the room. I was only in one of Shane's t-shirts!

When he heard this, he cleared his throat. "Guys, we'll meet you downstairs in a minute."

Everyone took that as their cue to leave and soon it was just us again.

"Do you mind if I shower first?" I asked him, thinking of all the things I had to do today.

"No, but if we shower together we can save time," He said, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

I smacked his chest. "Behave! Besides, who knows what'll happen tonight." I winked at him before closing the door.

'Lilly, you can't do that to a guy!' He complained.

I grinned and got into the shower and took my time too.

"Come on Lilly, I need a shower too! And everyone is waiting for us downstairs!" Shane said banging on the door.

I turned off the water and grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me. "Fine, you can come in now!" I shouted to him, cleaning the condensation off the mirror.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and felt the heat of Shane's body pressed against my back.

"You're shampoo smells nice," he teased, playing with my dripping wet hair and squeezing the excess water out of it.

"Hurry up and get your shower," I scolded, pushing him away.

He chuckled and stepped back, turning the shower on and began to strip. I quickly averted my eyes, thinking it might be better to step out soon.

'You don't need to be embarrassed Lily,' he said and I knew whatever was coming next wasn't going to be serious. 'You'll see it all eventually!' And there it is.

I laughed and shook my head, going into the room to get changed.

I put on a pair of leggings and a big jumper, along with my ugg boots.

Shane came out when I was quickly blow drying my hair. The sight would have made any girl swoon.

He had a towel wrapped around his waist, but it hung dangerously low. His body was still damp from his shower and his hair was still dripping.
