“You’re worthless” Ted said as he spat on Paul who was lying on the floor. Paul then quickly fainted. When Ted went out the window, Paul suddenly crawled towards the chair and pressed the fire alarm. Thus, the other goons quickly grabbed their guns and rushed towards Paul. When Ted heard a lot of footsteps rushing up the wooden staircase, his heart began to pound. But he was confident, so as he went down the stairs, he unscrewed the bolts so that the goons cannot pursue him as he goes down.
“Boss what happened here?” one of the goons said.
“You nitwit, he is getting away, half of you get to the fire exit, the other half, rush towards the door. Do not let him out of here alive” Paul ordered, as he was struggling to sit down, blood started to flow from his wounds and he became shaky. “You, the both of you get me a doctor”
“Why not bring you to the hospital?” asked one of the goons.
“Then I will be caught. Just bring in a doctor, and if he sings, he is dead” Paul said, as he was clutching his stomach.
The goons were rushing out the window. They could not see where Ted was because it was already dark that night. The goons who were outside a streak of black cloth blend with the shadows, they started firing at it. They pointed their guns at the black cloak which Ted wore. They showered at the corner with bullets and fire. The other goons which were at the back grabbed a ladder and went down. As they went down, they saw that there was a lot of bullets, they saw a man in a black cloak wearing a black hat that covered his face sitting on the corner bleeding as it was being pelted by shards of steel. As the goons were firing, Paul was looking out the window, he whispered to himself “And that is the end of the line Ted” he said, as he was being supported by two other goons. Then the lights went off in a sudden flash. There was a quick sounds of bashing glass.
The lights went back on after a few minutes. One of the goons was on the floor; the other was kneeling down for his chest was lacerated, bleeding heavily. Ted was seen standing. He was missing his cape and his hat.
“How did you escape?” Paul stammered as he was shocked at what he was seeing.
“Easy, they fell for the trap. What’s behind my cloak, was a trash bag” Ted said. He then went up to Paul, grabbed a key from his pocket, and whispered: “Let me borrow your car okay?” Ted whispered into Paul’s ears.
Paul was about to shout so he brought out a gun and shot Paul on the knees.
“I told you, one day you will bow before me” Ted said as he ran away the front door and into a car.
As the yellow Gran Torino was leaving the front yard, destroying everything in it’s wake just to escape the number of goons, the goons noticed that it was Ted who was driving the car, not their boss. They were dumbfounded to see that under the cloak was a trash bag.
As his car drove off, Ted noticed that some of the goons rode on their motorcycles and gave chase to Ted. Some of the other goons ran to their cars. A merry chase has began.
Ted quickly cranked up the speed on his car. Two motorcycles went by on each of his side. The two cyclists picked up each of their guns. When the bullet was released from the iron chamber thru a beautiful display of red flint, Ted ducked quickly. The two motorcyclists, accidentally killed each other who were on both side of the car. Their motorcycles crashed into the side of the road.
The other cars began quickly catching up Ted. One of the drivers pointed his gun at Ted’s head. Ted quickly rammed the car in the sun, making the car move into the wrong side of the road, and thus hitting an incoming truck.
When he was almost home, he saw multiply displays of flashing light and lots of wave distortions. He then took a shortcut and moved through the fences, and jumped out of his car, grabbed John by the side and pulled him inside the time machine.
