Hours just went by, not seeing him again until lunch time. And just like before, my maze-radar alarmed, I spotted him and my world stopped for a while.

I'm in food line carrying tray when he came. He went in line at Marco's back with his MINIONerds ( yeah, I will call them like that from now on). Because it was a perfect opportunity to be near him, I asked Marco silently to change position and believe me... he obliged happily without question. I think being a typical guy he is, he became single minded when hungry , which works this time. (sorry to some of not single minded guys)

I heard sebb asking Maze what he will buy

"pizza and soda" he said

Actually i'm not fan of cafeteria food. I just love buying chocolate shake here but when I heard him,my mind functioned rapidly, thinking if I buy the same food he'll buy, maybe he will notice and will call it 'fate'.

"chocoshake lav-ly?" Andrei asked me. It was his pet name for me. Even though we're not together, pet names remained. We became accustomed to it and it was really sweet so I didn't ask him to stop calling me the lovely name. Beside, our break up wasn't became a fall out relationship but a saving friendship deal.

"no, maybe a sprite and pepperoni pizza for now"

Andrei just looked at me, with his questioning eyes. He knew that I don't usually eat cafeteria food and I have packed chips. I just shrugged my shoulder as answer to him, for no further discussion.

"okay, i'll treat you" he smiled to me sweetly

"okay" I agreed

hmmm... What's with Andrei? He is really sweet but not in the sweet-kind-including-my-wallet-way now that we're not together. But treat is a treat,I will never say no to that.

After we got our food, we set it in our usual seats. In the middle of the room. While Maze and the MINIONerds went to the far corner of the canteen.

I took a glance in their direction and saw that Maze changed his mind. He bought a chocoshake, chips and hotdog sandwich. My plan failed so I just finished a quarter of my food and gave it to Andrei.

The bell rang and we went to our next lesson. My mind was still filled with Maze-thoughts.

After the whole fiasco of my friends in our school. We decided to stay together for a little while in our hideout-slash-hangout a.k.a. andrei's garage... or its the other way around?

Anyway, their family doesn't use it so we converted it to be our superfriend's cave (bat cave). We painted it blue-green. It was spacious enough for us so we put furniture; one set sofa chairs and round center table , small fridge filled with our snacks, and TV with wii. What more can we ask for? this is teenage life.

We sat down lazily while drinking chilled sodas from the fridge.

"we should do something this year" Andrei-the-responsible-one said

"yeah" we retorted

"i agree. this is our last year" marco said while fixing his wii to play (it was from their house)

"our last year, yes, but im not sure if it is yours marco" I cant just let this moment to past by without teasing someone.

Therese choke on her soda and the others laughed to my words except Marco.

He just narrowed his eyes on me playfully and positioned himself as a football player ready to tackle me"you didn't just jinx me, lavie"

"she totally did" Miriam added fuel to marco's fire ( ooohhh im starting to be good at metaphor ).
