Q&A TIME

Where do you get your inspiration?

I mainly get my inspiration from anything, really. I normally got the idea for the book when I saw so many Supernatural preferences and I literally saw no Assassin's Creed ones, so I thought "somebody needs to get these out, and they will be me." I get a lot of inspiration from music as well. I tend to write the preferences on the type of song I listen to; if it were a happy song, I'd listen to 5 Seconds of Summer (sometimes) or Lorde, if it was sad, I'd listen to I the Mighty or Lana Del Rey. It always depends. If you were to read regular preferences if they were for fictional or non-fictional characters, you'd see most of the ideas or plots to be repeated. I try to make up my own, but that's sort of difficult, but I try my best and everyone seems to like it. I liked playing with people's emotions, as heartless as that sounds, because I want to see how my writing affects the viewer, how they feel, how they react. It feels good to know that they can relate to a character because I'm the one who wrote it that way. People don't understand why I wrote the assassins the way they are. I made Altaïr a gym freak because in the game, he always thought that he was better than everyone, so I made him want to work to becoming better with body and mind. I made Ezio in love with fashion and style because I thought he always cared about his looks to impress girls, right? Connor is amazing with animals because he's very naturistic, as in the game. Edward is not really an alcoholic (though it's kind of implied), but he's a fun guy and back home, he used to drink a lot when he was back in Bristol because that's what men did. Haytham seems as if he's above all else and very cultured in the arts, so I made him knowledgeable and creative because he just is. And Desmond is very basic because we really didn't get to see alot of him, but I made him a gamer because he spent so much time in the animus, the ultimate game console. I hope that cleared up some questions as to why my writing style is this way.

Who is your favorite character from the franchise and why? Thanks for taking your time to read, I love this story so much ❤

I love you so much c: Okay, so this was really hard. When I first got into the series, I absolutely loved Ezio. I mean HOLY SHIT FAM. To be honest I'm taking Italian in school because I love this fandom too goddamn much. Then, it was Edward because MATT RYAN. But then Ubisoft likes to break fifteen year old fangirl's hearts and come out with a trailer for the new game and make a new, sexy Victorian Era assassin, so I fell in love with Jacob Frye when we barely know anything about him. I play Assassin's Creed 3 a lot, so I want to say Connor. Probably because he's so cute and clueless at times, it's pretty funny. But I absolutely adore early American history, it's really easy to learn in school, for me. I've always wanted to be in 1776 Boston (not saying I live in Boston, because I don't) because I could learn so much about what life was like. I could live history. I mean, it's pretty cool to learn about history that happend practically right where you lived. That, and Connor doesn't get enough recognition because he's a virgin or never made it with a girl or whatever.

Which death in the series was the saddest?

IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION. Just kidding; Mary Reed. It broke my heart to pieces, to see Edward that sad. Like I'M HERE FOR YOU FAM. And to be honest, I'm pretty sure we all knew that James Kidd was a girl like, Ubisoft did that on purpose. Also, everyone shipped Mary and Edward and I don't know WHY but maybe because they work well together. Like, Edward never had to worry about her because she could take care of herself. I see them as friends, really. Like, I never ship two people together just because they work well together. 'Destiel'? Nope. 'Malum'? Nuh-uh. 'Johnlock'? Okay, I can sort of see that, but not really. Back on track here, I loved Mary to death because she showed how tough and intimidating women can be and how they shouldn't be afraid to show their true colors. Just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she can't hang around guys. That's a lesson to you all c;
